They did many things, including renovation, repair and major trouble shooting for numerous problems in our old house (the original house was built in 1939 then an addition was added in 1979). The list: new tile in family room, kitchen, laundry area and bathroom (~700 Sq ft./old tile removed and new tile laid): small bath gutted and new tub and fixtures, tile surround that wraps around to bath wall and goes to ceiling, installation of a new window in shower/tub, tile floor, new sink, new curved shower curtain rod and paper holder and existing toilette put back into bathroom plus new fan/light fixture in bathroom plus paint in 3 finishes; new hot water heater with pan and water cop installed; repair of basement wall and removal of oleander roots from wall and exterior repair and grading of wall with sealing/waterproof paint; new smoke detectors in all rooms; redo of exterior electric lines: trenching and burial of lines and addition of sub panel and outlets in shed, new electrical riser on shed; existing irrigation valve and boxes moved 15' and reconnected; redo drainage through patio wall including 5' drain pipe and grate, and grading of west side of house; installation of new dishwasher with plumbing changes and electrical redo. |It went very well considering some of the problems they encountered. This company is the best I have ever worked with for any kind of renovation or repair. The subcontractors were all very professional as well. Everyone was very organized and went to great lengths to make it as pain-free for us as possible

Our experience with Eren was generally good. We met with Kelly Potter and Janice Donald to begin the project - we talked in general terms about what we wanted done. We signed an agreement and paid a design fee (non-refundable) up front. After a reasonalable time, we were called in to go over drawings and specifics, and quoted a price. Tto proceed from this point we were asked for partial payment, and received a time estimate and a payment schedule - we were required to make partial payment at several points throughout the project.
Next, Kelly took us shopping for materials and fixtures. I must say she was excellent - she showed us many alternatives, and made very helpful suggestions and recommendations. She helped us pick colors and textures and really tied everything together.
The construction phase was headed up by Chris Whitington, who was also excellent. He did the demolition and drywall himself, and assisted with the plumbing and electrical. Plumbing, electrical, tile, painting, glass and granite were all subcontracted out, which probably added to the cost considerably, but there's a value to having specialists. We did have a few do-overs, but Chris handled our nitpicking with good-natured professionalism. Craig Morton, the production manager, was also very good.
The project took a week or two longer than expected, but we were quite happy with the results.
I would recommend Eren only it you want a company to handle every aspect of your project from design to completion. If you have a good idea of colors and materials, and don't mind doing your own shopping, and managing your own project, there are cheaper ways to go. With Eren, you'll pay a premium, but you'll have a high-quality result.

The workmanship was excellent. Took longer than we were hoping for it take.

Their design service was outstanding; Kelly led us by the hand through the whole process which was necessary because we're engineers, not artists. Project began on time and followed the complete schedule virtually to the day. The entire project took 8 weeks and the only lull was about 5 work days waiting for counters to be fabricated. Everything was completed to spec and looks and functions perfectly. EREN was the most expensive quote we received by almost double, but when we saw what went into the project and the results, we're sure we got what we paid for and shudder at the thought of what we could have ended up with if we had gone with a less expensive alternative.

Their communication was outstanding. There is no doubt that the supervision of the different contractors was great, and they took care of things immediately if we pointed out where work wasn't done appropriately. We made some adjustments in the work order or design and they accommodated that. They kept the worksite clean and they respected the fact that I was working from home while they were doing the remodeling. I felt like the kind of materials that they used was at the level that we expected. Overall, we were extremely pleased.
