THEY HOSES THEY USED WERE LIKE A PRESSURE WASHER WHICH SPLASHED EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE HOSES THEY USED. AS A RESULT OF THE CHEMICALS USED, THIS CAUSED A DISCOLORATION IN THE CEMENT AROUND OUR POOL. HE CAME BACK WITH HIS BUDDY WHO EVENTUALLY TOLD US THAT THIS WAS OUR FAULT. THEY SAID IT WAS BECAUSE OUR CEMENT WAS NOT SEALED PROPERLY. WE HAD OUR DECK SEALED A YEAR AGO. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL EITHER. HIS RESPONSE WAS THAT THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE IN THE WORK AND THAT CALCIUM DEPOSITS WOULD SHOW UP IN THE FUTURE. I CALLED HIM THE NEXT DAY AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ABOUT THERE STILL BEING DEPOSITS LEFT. CALCIUM CANNOT SHOW UP THAT FAST IF THE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME.
Description of Work: WE HAD THEM COME CLEAN THE CALCIUM DEPOSITS OFF OF THE TILE OF OUR POOL.

Response from ECO BLAST
Upon completion of cleaning the pool tile, she inspected our work and work area and found them to be satisfactory and signed a receipt stating that she was completely satisfied with our work. We promptly responded to the member's complaint the next day and inspected the area. The concrete deck had several areas where the sealer had come off, all in areas where we had done no work. We tried several times to explain the process we use to clean pool tile. The process uses no chemicals and does not have the ability to strip sealer from deck. This damage was preexisting to our work. We also offered material safety data sheet showing this to be true; she did not want to see it. Unfortunately she simply would not let us explain. Prior to cleaning the tile we directed her to website: maxxstrip.com that describes the pool tile cleaning process. We have cleaned thousands of pool tile in Arizona and California and have never damaged or stripped a pool deck using this process. The member acknowledged the company who sealed the pool deck had not sealed it properly. the company that was no longer in business and she had no recourse. We don't feel we should be held responsible for that contractors inferior work. Jerry Hernandez
