Kitchen turned out great. The wife loves it and therefore, it is great.  Rick planned and executed the entire job himself. He does the cabinet work in his own shop. We purchased all of the fixtures, appliances, tile, granite, electrical options ourselves, and Rick installed everything. He repaired the tile floor, which we chose to keep, with leftover tile from the original installation. He added a pass-through 'window' to the dining room which opened up the kitchen to make it more airy. He constructed a soffit for some lighting and did all the drywall, texturing, and painting.  All-in-all, great job at a reasonable price. I'd hire him again in a minute.

Removal of old cabinets involved lots of dust and debris. EagleOne emailed photos showing progress. They covered all of the furniture in the living room and dining room; they are adjacent to the kitchen where the work is being done. All debris was removed from the premises, making the empty kitchen look like it was ready for the work that was to be done. A pass through from the kitchen to the dining room and a new skylight were just part of the new kitchen. This meant new drywall so all would be ready for paint and cabinetry. So far, so good.  Actually, all is looking great so far. I'll provide updates as the work continues. Total cost of kitchen remodel, as bid by EagleOne, was approximately $22,000.
