I was very happy with the service performed on both vehicles and the price was very reasonable. Although the AC lost it's charge after only a few weeks, Douglas Auto checked all the hoses and identified the service fittings as the culprit. They replaced the fittings and recharged the system at no cost. Now that's customer service. Douglas Auto is my go-to place to take my vehicles as I know they stand behind their work no questions asked. Nice to find a repair shop that operates with such honesty and integrity. Very refreshing.

We found him by word of mouth, he is off the beaten path and you have to go down this dirt road to get to him. He knows what he is doing, and he has a really nice shop and takes care of business and he is fair. That's who we use mostly for auto. this guy is packed with work, several bays and employees. These people make their money and do a good job. Our 2001 truck that we have that we keep going, they've done amazing work and taken the time to do a really good job.These are people that want to keep older cars running, and he does a lot of work for people that are working for a living and trying to get to work. He is a really good guy. We've sent several people there they are great. It was worth every penny. The car runs great, everything still working really good, we going to have couple other things replaced we know need replaced. We going to take it on that there and have him do it.

They are really good. He is very busy. My family also goes to him. He told me that it's not worth fixing anymore. He gives good customer service. I took a car in and it was wobbly and he fixed it immediately. He did not downgrade anyone, he just apologized. I can trust him and I haven't felt that way anywhere else. They are very professional.

This is a great company. A little off the beaten path, but a real gem. They do a great job, in a reasonable amount of time and by keeping overhead low, are able to offer great prices. They also offer a ride if you need one, and once when I needed to pick up my truck late, they made special arrangements so that my truck would be available for me to pick it up. Great company.

We have dealt extensively with them and would give them a high recommendation. They took care of our previous car. Our new car we take to the dealership. We have dealt with them since we moved here in August of 2005 on the recommendation of a friend. Our experience has been 100% positive. They are fair and they are good. I have no local comparison on price. But comparing to our old service center in another state, their price is fair.

My air conditioning went out in the peak of a heat wave, in southern Arizona. Most of the places I called wanted to charge me about $600 to repair it. I felt that I was getting hamstrung because of the time of year, and the weather. I contacted a shop I heard of on the east side of town, that has a good reputation for being honest. I asked them for a referral on the NW side of Tucson. After 2 more referral-based calls, I was given the name of Douglas Automotive. Bob told me they would give me a free estimate. He got my car in the next morning and called me with an estimate of $200.00. He explained what was wrong with the car, and what work the serviceman could perform to do the repairs. He then gave me an itemized list of expenses, and explained how the total cost was reached. I was aware of the cost of the parts form the local auto supply store, and I could tell form the estimate I was not being overcharged a mark-up, if any. I liked the way bob explained everything to me!
