There were problems with the shades from the beginning. Chris came out several times to fix the same shades that wouldn't open or wouldn't close. Finally, Dana told me that she would have to charge me for Chris's visit since he was here too much. I felt at the time and still feel that the product was defective from the start and should have either been replaced or the repairs should have continued to be made at no cost to me. At the last contact, Dana told me that Bruce is now repairing the shades at a cost for each shade he has to repair and that he knows much more than Chris does. Chris is now handling sales. I have one shade that does not pull up and one that just doesn't work, plus the cords are twisted in most of the others. Bruce sent me one text that he could come that same afternoon, but I wasn't home and I haven't heard from him again, that was on July 10, 2013. I will now use someone else to make the repairs. I know many people with honeycombs and no else has had any problems with them, so I believe they either were defective or all of the repairs were never done properly. i cannot recommend them and will never use them again.

I just spoke with Bruce with regard to scheduling a repair- he said that you sis not wish to reschedule due to there beig a cost. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding here? I did offer to you on the phone that we would discount the repair by $10 a window after the first window. I would like to clarify the reason there are repair charges. When you originally bought the shade, I recommended the continuous cord lift system because of the size of the shades. However, at the time, because it was. $60 charge per shade to upgrade, you opted for a different lift. The manufacturer and Desert Window Wear both honored the first two repairs at no charge. Bruce has more experience than Chris, so my thought was maybe he would have an idea of how you could avoid future problems. We have honored the warranty to fix any broken strings or components at no charge for parts, but the repair process takes time, which is reasonable for Bruce to be compensated for. Again, I apologize sincerely for your dissatisfaction, but we would be happy to come out and repair your shades as you asked."

very prompt responses. good installation - some problem with blinds but fixed right away. quality didn't seem quite as good as I have seen elsewhere so maybe their suggestion could have guided me to a better quality blind

Great service and product! We have a mix of faux wood blinds and cellular shades and everything looks great. Danya (sales) was a delight, as were Bruce and Dawn (installation)! I'm very pleased with the products and the service couldn't have been better. I will definitely call them again if/when we're in need of window treatments.

I had priced the window treatments I wanted on the Internet, such as Smith and Noble, but decided the installation was just going to be too much work. I was amazed that the cost was actually much less than thru the do-it-yourself Internet route.
