Windows were cleaned perfectly and film applied.  It works,  my electric bill went down $30 a month

We were introduced to Desert Windows at the Home Show.  We made an appointment with the sales person.
Allow time for the presentation.  The window installation was scheduled.  They have a 4 window minimum.
The windows were installed a few weeks later.  It was a team of 6 for the installation.  They cleaned up and did a review of the windows.  How to open, close and remove the screens.  Overall great experience.

The gentleman was very thorough in explaining their windows and had a sample that he used to demonstrate the insulation value of their windows.  That was very impressive.  Their prices seemed to be a little high.  I have to be really sure that it is worth it.  I also had the gentlemen look at a window that we were having problems with (leaking), and although he did not offer to help me check the outside of the window for problems, he did tell me specifically to check the weepholes to make sure that they were unobstructed.  We didn't feel like we were ready to make a decision on replacing our windows at this time, but we will consider this company should we decide to do so in the future.

I will not go into details about my poor prior service, but I really believed I was getting a quality product installed with care. Now I need to replace the windows after one week and $5000 invested. Desert Window and door would have provided a much better product, a dedicated tradesman whom knows his craft, a better price, and most importantly the relief knowing your house is in good hands. It was apparent Desert Window and Door cares about the customer, their work, and a lifetime of satisfaction. They had been here a long time in Tucson and their work is on display at the Tucson Airport buildings and tower, probably the most demanding window assignment down here in the Old Pueblo....I only wish I would have used them instead; but you live and learn. I offer this report to help you in your efforts of finding quality. Recommended to the highest degree.
