We specialize in creating custom solutions, and make a point to always leave our customers happy. Our plantation shutters, shades, blinds and draperies are designed to "wow" you through and through, with creative color matching and superior installation. All of our work is custom fit, meaning you’ll get to work alongside our design experts to ensure that window treatments you choose match your home’s design to a tee. We’ll go through our broad selection of innovative product types, elegant performance fabrics and intelligent shade operating systems with you at our showroom or in-home design consultation. We are a locally owned company and we treat our customers with care. No pressure, just style! Located in Tucson and serving greater Southern Arizona we’ve been in the business of manufacturing and installing window treatments since 1995. We take cards and checks, for general payments.

I looked on line and found several shade manufacturers and called one about the part I needed. They immediately recommend Desert Wind Shutters. After talking to the receptionist (name I’m not sure of, but super nice) she referred me to John the owner, who was at the warehouse but still had time to talk to me. He knew the part I was talking about after sending him a picture of the broken part.he had it sent to the showroom the very next day for pickup. John was even kind enough to walk me through the process of getting the part back on. In the end my customer, including myself were very happy and I will always recommend Desert wind Shutters. I called John White and he came out in 2 days to do an estimate for my window.  John pointed out a potential problem with the garage door track and I was able to have the track mounted higher.  He was experienced and knew his products.  I ordered the shutters and John said the lead time to build them was 4 -6 weeks.  John installed them in 4 weeks.  They fit perfectly and the install was completed in 15 minutes.  The shutters are well made and the job went perfectly.

John White was recommended by our general contractor who said he had never had a client who wanted a plantation shutter but his neighbor built them. I contacted John by email from our home some 3000 miles away. Shortly after we arrived in Tucson, John quickly installed the shutter built to my specifications. Everything fit perfectly. The panels were aligned with the existing window sections. The magnetic closures met exactly as they should. There were no gaps to let in stray sunlight. Altogether an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

THE PRICE WAS UP TO EXPECTATIONS. THEY WERE A FAST PACED COMPANY. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY SHUTTERS LOOK. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR A JOB.
