We have the worst luck with fridges - they always break, often multiple times in different ways. This time, it was our garage fridge that died during the heat of the summer, during COVID. Dependable Refrigeration came out very quickly (and well masked). As usual, they had it diagnosed within 5 minutes. It was a couple hundred dollars to fix, and they helped me think thru whether it would be better to pay for the repair, or get a new fridge. In the end, we decided to keep the fridge - these guys are so familiar with the brands and the ways they break - they told me that the main thing that goes wrong with this fridge is the board, and that GE had a fix for the problem on the replacement. So it had a lot more life in it. They've also fixed our unreliable Samsung house fridge - we've had them out probably three times, for three different problems. Same as with the garage fridge - they have a good guess on what the problem is, figure it out in five minutes, get the part (once it was right in the truck), and fix the problem. Prices are very fair, esp for the quality of the work they do. We're about to dump the unreliable Samsung - and I asked them specifically for which brands to avoid. Who would know better than them? Highly recommended.

Things went really well. Sorry (bad at remembering names), but the technician came out and diagnosed the problems with the washer. After giving me an estimate of $1100 and change we both decided it was best to just purchase a new washer. I wasn't expecting it to be that much, but the tech was very nice and let me know of some good and bad brands to purchase. I paid the diagnostic fee and he was on his way.

Service is excellent. We have used them before this dishwasher repair and we will certainly use them again if something else brakes.

Technician told me problem, advised me that appliance was under warranty so am using warranty company for repair.

Tim came promptly and was very knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately the problem was the compressor, which cost more than my budget could afford for the age of the refrigerator.

Travis was punctual, professional and knowledgeable as he quickly diagnosed the issues on our two GE Profile appliances! Our refrigerator required a new electrical circuit board and the price of the board was very fair when I compared it to pricing on Amazon. Our dryer would stop running from time to time and Travis quickly but methodically ruled out potential causes and found that the dryer motor vents were clogged with dust (causing it to overheated and shut off) after 12 years of service. No parts needed and it now works great! I had seen the positive reviews on Dependable and thankful we got Travis! We won't hesitate to use them again in the future and recommend Dependable to anyone seeking a prompt, professional and fair priced appliance service.

They charged me $596 for repairs that did not correct the problems and when I asked for a refund they refused. Avoid these people as they are NOT Dependable..

Repairman Michael, who had earlier handled another repair, is friendly, personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. He did this job well, with a smile. If all service companies were this good, the world of home ownership would a lot more pleasant. If there were a rating higher than 5 stars, they’d get it from us.

Very pleased with the work that was performed. After installing the new part, Tim cleaned the coils in my refrigerator and the area around it before replacing the unit. He is very thorough and competent in his work and always checks everything out to be sure that it is working properly. I would hire him again.

Recently needed someone to check on why our ice maker wasn't working properly (it would continually fill with water and dump before ice could form). Based on Angie's LIst reviews I called Dependable Refigeration. Dominic arrived as scheduled and got right to work troubleshooting the problem and possible resolution. He determined that the unit needed to be replaced and had a new unit with him (the office called prior to his arrival to get the refrigerator's serial number). He quickly replaced the unit, tested it, cleaned up and was on his way in about an hour. The charge was reasonable and we are happy to have a working ice maker again! Dominic was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Travis arrived on time, was professional and thorough. Made sure that it was not a lack of refrigerant or compressor problem. Found that it was slightly deformed seal on the door that was leaking cold air to the room, Applied a heat gun and reshaped the gasket on the door. Fixed the problem. After the service, I had plugged the fridge into a GFI outlet and lost power to the fridge when the defrost cycle started a few hours later. Didn't know what happened and called Dependable to come back. Travis came back the next day and found my mistake. Problem quickly solved.

It went well. Tim called and was on time and identified my problem which was a leaking water line. He replaced that, cleaned my refrigerator coils and the area around the unit. Tim is a very personable guy who knows what he is doing and his charges are reasonable. He had the problem fixed in no time. I also liked that he is very clean in his work and wore work booties as to not track in any dirt into my house. I would hire him again.

Great. He was able to restart the compressor saving us hundreds in replacement costs.

Called on Wednesday and Tim came by as scheduled Thursday. We needed a part which Tim came back with on Saturday and the refrigerator is working great. Tim was professional, took the time to explain things and was very neat. Refreshing to have a business do what they say and show up when they say. Tim called that he was on his way both times and we really appreciated that.

Left an after-hours voice mail on Sat. Received a call back on Sun. and a service appointment for Mon. AM. Dominick arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and completed the repair with parts on his truck. Dependable is responsive, professional, and rates are reasonable. I am very pleased and will call them for all my future appliance repairs.

They found out that the defrosting fan had frozen over with ice and could not send cool air out to the fridge. The work performed seems to have corrected the problem. The service techs were efficient and knowledable and the price for the work was reasonable.

Great! Prompt and courteous service

They did arrive pretty quickly, but a little late. My renter called me and said he was very impressed with the technician's professionalism and knowledge about his work. Not only did he repair the problem, which was the heater that allowed the freezer to defrost, but he fixed other minor things like the freezer door gasket, leveled the fridge, and some other adjustments. I would definitely use them again.

Turned out to be a board that needed resetting. Didn't even know that fridges used boards! Company was very responsive and communication was excellent. Team actually called to let us know they were 10 minutes away. Workers were courteous and professional. Highly recommended, and would use them again. Especially want to mention Travis.

Freezer now works as expected, ice maker works as expected. Tim was very responsive, always kept us informed of status of ordered parts, an efficient craftsman. As a non-refrigeration person, the Sub-Zero system is difficult to work on -- i'st more than 6 feet above the floor. Tim protected the floor, counter tops and left everything clean and undamaged. He did a very professional job for us and we will certainly call him again....if we need service on refrigeration units.

At the one month mark, everything is working perfectly. The work was punctual and went smoothly.
