Delivery Doctors Movers and Storage

We've used Delivery Doctors twice and highly recommend them!

I arranged my move with Delivery Doctors and spoke with Erin regarding my flat screen TV. I let her know that I’d saved the box from the original purchase and she was glad to hear it. She said that they encourage original packaging for the safety and protection of the item. Given that I had to pay extra for the TV, I assumed Delivery Doctors would know how to move it with the utmost care. Well, moving day came (1/20/17) but the mover who was disassembling the TV to pack it in the original box was having difficulties. Although he said he’d been in the moving business for many years, he was definitely struggling. Primarily, he didn’t set up a place so he could lay the TV down to disassemble the base so he used his shoes as a support and did it standing up. I was concerned but because he didn’t drop it, I thought it should be ok. He finally got the TV wrapped up, put in its original, box and then loaded it in the truck. The second item of concern was the sofa. He said they would wrap it in the truck which didn’t made no sense to me because to and from the truck with dirty hands on a fabric sofa was going to get it dirty… and it did. At the new location, once again the same mover was having difficulties removing the TV from the box, reassembling it, and basically getting it ready to put it on the TV stand. Once he was done, the number of finger prints on all four sides of the TV was the worst thing I’d ever seen but I thought, to my lack of knowledge, they could be easily wiped away with TV screen cleaner but NO, I could NOT do it. After hours of carefully attempting to clean it with a specific Flat Screen TV Cleaner, there was some improvement but not as it was before. I finally called to speak with Erin (12/30/17) but she was on vacation and so I spoke to someone who said he was also one of the owners. As I tried to explain the situation, the man was rude, yelled at me, and so the conversation ended badly. A few days later I gave it another go and tried cleaning the TV yet again but this time the many hours took its toll on me and I ended up in the ER with a unexpected diagnosis of Vertigo. The Dr. said the constant motion of cleaning the TV caused me to have my very first episode which included a call to 911, a slew of medications, vomiting, and head spinning the likes of which I’ve never experienced before in my life. Days of recovery were necessary with medication and lots of rest. When I was finally felt better to at least have a conversation about the issue, I placed yet another call to Erin (1/5/18) but no one answered and so I had to leave a message. My call was never returned. It’s my feeling they screen their calls which is clearly not a good sign of a good business. Since I was now in a new home, I had to wait for internet service and it’s now 1/11/18 and have finally gotten to posting the outcome of my move with Delivery Doctors. In short, a horrific experience. To remedy the situation, I would like my TV screen professionally cleaned and be like new which was how it was before Delivery Doctors picked it up and moved it.

The crew that helped me move were very professional and helpful. You could tell that they enjoyed working together and worked as a team. They arrived on time and moved at an unbelievable pace, often running when they weren't carrying a load. They were very responsive to requests and wanted to be sure that you were satisfied with the job they were doing. They treated my things as if they were their own and nothing was damaged in the process. I could not be happier and would definately hire them again.

I was very pleased with Delivery Doctors. For one thing, I love the flat rate pricing, which was very reasonable. Scheduling was very easy, too, and the movers showed up on time. My move was a bit challenging but everyone I dealt with handled the work with professionalism and provided great service. For one thing, I was moving from a third floor apartment. The movers did not let the stairs slow them down and had everything loaded in a short amount of time. The other challenge was that contractors were supposed to have completed some work on the house by the time the movers showed up but they ran over time. I was able to have the truck unloaded but all my stuff had to be put in one room while the contractors finished their work. The movers offered to stay until they could put furniture into the proper rooms however, the contractors still needed a few more hours to complete their work. The movers suggested I call the office and schedule a crew for the following day, which I did. I was very glad Delivery Doctors were able to get me on their schedule again the following day. A different crew showed up and I explained the situation from the day before and they set to work getting the stuff into the right rooms and setting up the bed. They worked quickly and were done in about 20 minutes. Instead of just leaving, the movers reminded me that I had them for a full hour at the same price and asked if there was anything else they could do. So I had them move around some of the packed boxes and store some of the leftover materials the contractors had neglected to clean up the day before. I was very impressed with the initiative shown by the movers on both days. I was also impressed with the schedulers I talked to on the phone. I feel the rates are very reasonable for the level of service provided and the speed with which the movers worked. On the second day, I only had to pay for a trip fee and not the truck rental. The trip fee was about half of the truck rental and I felt that was very reasonable as well. With the chaos caused by the contractors, this move could have been a disaster but Delivery Doctors really saved the day for me, twice.

We had used Delivery Doctors in 2012 for a move and we were very pleased with the cost and how fast the crew completed the move. There was no damage to any furniture and no breakage. We had done the packing and unpacking ourselves. We didn't hesitate to use them for this move. The communications and scheduling and professionalism with the office was very good. However, the actual moving experience was not nearly as good as the previous experience. The previous move was also in town but several miles between houses. This move was into a subdivision across the street from where we were living and we had less furniture since we were down sizing 1000 sq feet. This move took much longer than the previous move and we noticed some minor but obvious scratches on our buffet. When we pointed the scratches out, the crew member denied they could have happened since all the furniture was wrapped in plastic. It is true, all the furniture was wrapped but not as completely as the previous crew had done. This crew did not hustle as the previous crew had. The crew was slow.

The crew was amazing! It took a lot more time than any of us expected and it was REALLY hot! They took extra special care of my grandma's china cabinet (which is about 100 years old) and was my biggest concern. This is the third time I have used them and I have referred lots of people to them!

Really professional and took good care of all of our furniture, nothing was scratched or dented.  The guys were real fast.

They've done work for me in the past, so I knew they were good.

Another fabulous job!  Eddie and Jeff showed up on time with all the materials, did not bat an eye at the task of packing hundreds of books and moving office furniture out of the building (which required navigating a wonky old freight elevator), figuring out how to get in all into a storage area with limited space, and got the job done in much less time than I'd estimated.  Excellent work!  Thanks too to the office staff for being on top of reservations etc.

The Delivery Doctors were on time, professional, and skilled, figuring out how to move numerous complicated and large pieces of furniture, some of which had actually been assembled within the house and never moved through the doors before.  We had boxed and organized most things before they arrived, but they were gracious with us continuing to wrap stuff up for them as they worked, and they worked very quickly, even in 110 degree heat, which is greatly appreciated when one is paying by the hour.  At then end of the day we felt our money was very well spent indeed.

Movers arrived on time and worked very quickly.  I was glad my husband was there to help direction them because they moved so fast, that I was a bit overwhelmed.
In unpacking the moving vans, they kept asking "where does this go."  It was clearly marked, but I or my husband directed them gladly.  For the most part, the boxes ended up where we wanted them and the furniture definitely was placed where we needed.  Two weeks later I am still unpacking and finding boxes in rather odd places....initially annoying, but now kind of funny because four men moving quickly and probably asking "where does this go" and hearing two people answer, maybe not even their inquiry, well....its ok.
The very last glass shelf that was to be unpacked by them (very carefully wrapped in their quilted thingies) dropped shattering on the cement floor.  They measured where it was to go (a shelf for a bedside table) and the replacement was delivered within a week. 
I would give this company a big thumbs up.  Nothing is perfect, but this was as near to perfect as a big move can be.  My husband did not know that some of our artwork and other boxes were stashed in a closet, so those never got moved...we had to go back, but we take that responsibility.   We felt their pricing was competitive and fair.

Delivery Doctors did a wonderful job for us. We recently moved from out of state into 2 large storage units. After purchasing a house in Tucson we contracted with them to move all our possessions into our new home. They sent 2 trucks and 5 men to move us. They showed up promptly at the storage units, loaded and delivered all our things in a very short period of time with no breakage. They were efficient and professional, and their price was much lower than we were expecting. I would highly recommend Delivery Doctors for any move.

They were efficient and friendly and quickly put our minds at ease.  It was hard to believe that 4 1/2 hrs later they had everything set up at our new home 40 minutes away. We had chosen to move our art and lamps---and clothing beforehand.  All breakables had already been packed.  We basically used their strength for all the furniture and boxed items.  I'm sure they would have done the rest perfectly. We had used another Angie's list recommendation the day before for tile cleaning and had been disappointed so wondered if we could really depend on this company.  We highly recommend them!  No time wasted!

Everything was very professional, personnel courteous, and nothing was broken in the process. Excellent work! No problems, everything done on time and as promised.

The team of three very nice young men moved furniture (e.g., beds, dressers, cabinets etc.) from the main house into two storage locations on site.  They arrived early, worked steadily and were done within 90 minutes -- much sooner than I had estimated.  They were able to position everything so as to maximize space. I especially appreciated the fact that I only had to explain what I wanted once:  It wasn't especially complicated but some things had to go to one place and others to the second place and I guess I have gotten used to people coming back saying,"Um, what did you want again?" but the Delivery Doctors guys have excellent listening skills!  I also appreciated that Erin was able to fit our job into the schedule on short notice and actually found a way to get it done earlier than originally planned.  I will definitely use them in future and recommend them to anyone who is thinking, "Oh, I can do it myself..."  Sure, maybe you could, but it's not worth it -- get pro help!
