Custom Closet Works

I remodeled my MBR closet and he came in and gave me suggestions on what would work best for my needs. He was reasonable, knowledgeable, and very professional. My floor by nature, was somewhat uneven, but when he finished all was level and perfect. His workmanship was top-notch!!.

The owner, Daman, is thorough in detailing/estimating final product design and cost ...He follows up on schedule and the cabinets are of high quality and still fully functional and attractive after a year of harsh frequent use.... Prices are competitive with local providers, and considerably less than major franchise cabinet installers previously utilized...

It is with great pleasure that I write this review for Custom Closet Works.   The owner, Daman Romero, answered when I called and set up an appointment to discuss our office cabinets and computer desk. He came out on time and took the time to really understand what we needed.  In addition, he made great suggestions that were in our price range and made sense.  He sent us a proposal with detailed drawings, designs blueprints, and the proposal.  We were very impressed with everything and set up an installation date.  As scheduled, Mr. Romero came out and installed the cabinets and computer desk.  He has a small trailer with all of his equipment inside to do the work on-site.  He was very professional and left our office cleaned-up with the beautiful cabinets and built-in computer desk that exceeded our expectations. I recommend Custom Closet Works.

Daman and his team were excellent to work with. He provided detailed designs and estimates for all work and met with me several times to finalize the design and cost prior to doing the work. He also made last minute design changes for me which I really appreciated. One thing I really liked is that he brings his workshop for cutting wood etc. with him in a large trailer he tows with his truck enabling him to make real time adjustments as needed. The cost of his services was less than the other two estimates I received and the quality of the products were also better (no exposed particle board shelves!) I highly recommend Daman and his team.

Damon was/is a joy to work with. He listens and comes up with excellent designs that make it easy to see what the finished look will be like.  He works extremely cleanly and there was never any mess at all. I enjoyed his personality, Damon is very easy to get along with. And I am so happy I used him for the work. I will recommend him completely and tell all of my friends and family about how pleased I am with the results and the experience. Damon came out to give us an estimate for the work. After looking at the initial plans, my husband re-worked the garage plan to include an expanded workbench storage area as well as adding large storage closets along the back wall of the garage and a hanging system for ladders, tools, etc. Damon and crew did the installation. The master bedroom closet included pulling out the old closet rods/shelves, and installing all new hardware to include hang-up areas, shelving for shoes, and numerous shelves. It looks awesome, and definitely meets our needs. The garage area is beautiful. My husband has a great workbench area that includes cabinets and drawers. The large storage closets/cabinets at the back wall of the garage hold so much, we don't have plastic bins and boxes stacked all over the place. Love it!

Damon asks a lot of questions to make sure he knows your needs and what you are solving for in the job. He is not afraid then to offer his own ideas to provide the most efficient solution. He provides samples of his work in the area you are looking to improve. He has a good product and the results were above my expectation. Areas to improve would be timeliness for replies to questions and cleaning up after install -

First rate from start to finish. We actually called Damen for an estimate to do shelves in our pantry, and upgrade our master closet. He looked at what we had and said with no hesitation "what you have is really nice, and if I were you i wouldn pay me to fix something that doesn't need fixed." As we walked out through the garage, I pointed out the storage we already had. One thing led to another, and all of a sudden we were designing some fairly extensive additions to our garage cabinets. We received a professional proposal with CAD drawings, and went from there. Damen showed up on time with his self contained carpentry trailer, and had the job completed in about six hours. Courteous, communicative, and adaptive to "on the spot" changes. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS.

This company is by far the best I have worked with in the closet/storage category--and the best priced. The local owner/operator has a collaborative work style and is helpful in reaching decisions on design but extremely flexible and accomodating to tastes. He came to the house and took measurements. We discussed at length the various options to accomplish the optimum storage capability as well as long term versatility. Then he produced wood samples to choose from and he led me through the pluses and minuses of each. I was so pleased with his approach that the wonderfully priced bid was almost gravy!
His installation took about a day and a half. Very good about dust clean-up and care when moving equipment and materials in and out of the house. Could not be more satisfied and have received numerous compliments when I show off his work and my closet!

We have bought and sold homes every two years for many years.  With this, comes working with Many Contractors.  We have Never in the past experienced such Wonderful Service and Workmanship that Custom Closet Works provided us.  The owner, Daman Romero, is an Absolute Pleasure to work with from the Beginning to the End.  Daman stood by his word through  the entire project.  When the Closets were completed, they were everything that Daman initially represented to us and More.  We only Wish that he did everything in a home, not just closets, because we would hire him to do it all!!!
