My elderly mother needed assistance in arranging her move from Tucson to Central Illinois. I contacted Cupboard to Closet and spoke with Cat Belue, one of the owners. She reviewed with me the services that they provided as Senior Move Managers including sorting, packing and assistance in arranging cross country shipment of ones belongings. Cat was knowledgable and understood immediately the type of assistance the we needed. She arranged an in home consultation for the next day and spent a great deal of time going over the items that needed to be moved including several pieces of furniture as well as 20 to 30 boxes worth of additional items. She called me that day with an estimate that it would require two members of her staff approximately 7 hours to pack and load everything into a portable moving container. The price of $800 which included packing materials as well as staff time seemed very reasonable. This was separate from the cost of the shipping container and transport by ABF Shipping. An appointment was scheduled for the following Thursday and it could not have gone smoother! Cupboard to Closet's staff was efficient, knowledgable and cheerful. They were very kind to my mother and made an otherwise stressful situation extremely pleasant. They were a pleasure to work with and my mother was thrilled with them! The communication was excellent as I received several emails throughout the moving process updating me on the progress. It was an outstanding experience and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing help with Senior relocation services!
