It took a little less than a month for them to fabricate and then install the door. They arrived on time at 10:30 am and were completed by noon. The installation process is thorough --- first they had to prepare the vinyl door by removing the original screen door track using a special saw. Then they install a brand new track around the entire perimeter of the frame which is affixed to the house using special screws that can't be easily removed; the door is installed in the track before the track is finished. They install specially designed hardware designed to keep the door locked and secure.
To put it simply, this is the best screen door I have ever owned. And the design of the screen to be puncture resistant and denial of removal is unbelievably thorough. I am considering installing these screens on the rest of our doors and windows.
