Horrible experience. He took our money and ran! After 7 weeks of broken promises, and not showing up with a skilled crew, we fired him so that we could hire a reputable company to complete our job in a professional and timely manner. When they did show up, which was sporadic, it was with unsupervised, unskilled laborers and daily they were tearing out the mistakes from the day before. We have made several attempts to get our money back, but so far he has refused to refund our deposit for the work that was never completed satisfactorily.

"Ms [Member Name Removed] terminated our contract by email on April 14th without warning or reason. We were never given a deadline this job was acquired through pool company. She states not on job but 2 men were assigned to this job and were under scrutiny and she was changing things all the time causing delays in our job. The so unskilled work has been a Mason for 20+ years has had multiple completed, satisfied jobs. Please look at our Facebook page. She also terminated our the contract for work for the pool company stating that she didn't want us working for them. This has caused a termination of work that was partially/fully finished so waiting for pool company to pay for work fully and partially finished. We contacted the Registrar of Contractors immediately and was advised that we didn't need to sign any papers that we were given or to provide any information due to contract being terminated If Ms [Member Name Removed] would have communicated her dismay we would have gladly tried to appease her. I have all the emails and can show her dismay was not communicated till email on April 14th. Pictures provided were before work was completed and changed."

Horribly. Insufficient stone coverage. Fire ring pad has pavers around edge with a 1" piece of paver instead of a full block, placed right where walkway meets ring. Deep, unwalkable valley created in side yard instead of correcting drainage problem as intended. This area still floods. Company fails to answer emails and phone calls. Now 8 months later and the work has still not been corrected. Owner no-showed twice for scheduled visits to correct problems. Owner just said to me "F--- you!" and then hung up on me when I complained about the no-shows.

"Customer signed off and paid in full on the contract. This was a rental home and he was not around when job completed. We felt that by paying in full he was satisfied with the project. Nothing on the contract said anything about drainage and none was done. The way his yard is set up it all drains to the back door and he would have to cut down the yard and have a person who is a drainage expert perform it. As far as the rock coverage additional rock was installed at no additional cost to the customer. No phone calls were received only text messages. We have been out to the property on 6 different occasions to correct problems, some issues were not part of the contract and customer was trying to get things done for free. We expressed our regrets for not following through on the two no shows, however we have done everything that was on the contract. Unfortunately, frustration in not being able to placate customer caused anger and customer would not let up, the owner is very sorry for what he said. Work was done on this project in two phases and unfortunately some of the issues would have been fixed when second phase was complete. Somethings were done in a temporary fashion so as to have somethings to be ready for second phase."

From the time I accepted the estimate to the time the work was scheduled was about 2 weeks, which was perfect for my schedule. The job was completed in excellent time, everyone on the job was very professional and the work was performed to my satisfaction. All phases of the project were executed perfectly and great attention to detail. I was kept well informed of what was going on every step of the project and appreciated being kept in the loop with regards to my job.I would gladly hire this Contractor again.
