Costco routinely has comparably priced tires and excellent service. The automotive staff is knowledgeable about the products they carry. Scheduling appointments are easy and my vehicles are ready when promised. I will continue to use Costco for tires and other things and have referred others to them.

Mattresses
COSTCO is a big box store and suffers from the same maladies that all big box stores suffer from. However compared to BIG BOX and SAM's Club the are a dream. Between my wife and I we spend about $500/month at this particular store. It is new and clean and easy to get to from the freeway of from the city streets. Unlike many of these types of stores it has a big parking lot with plenty of space within reach of the front doors.

Mattresses
It was terrible. We ordered it online and they delivered it. We couldn’t pick it up ourselves since it was hard for us to deal with it since we are 72 years old. They were not responsive at all to come and pick it up like they said they would. So we ended up taking it back and we have not bought a mattress through them since then because we can’t seem to find one that’s as good as they say they are. They told us that they were very busy when we went to them and told them to pick it up. They couldn’t seem to get it together and so we just took it back ourselves. We bought a lot of stuff online. If they have to deliver it, then we don’t do that anymore. Costco is fine for small items. They are usually pretty prompt. I wouldn’t buy a mattress from them again.

I like their prices because I don't have the prescription coverage for my wife and me. I usually fill the initial prescription at the Costco store and then use their mail order facility for refilling the prescription. I don't have to go to their store every time. I can order them online which is very convenient.
