Michael D. Moreno is a successful entrepreneur in the city of Tucson, Arizona since 1981 and has resided in Arizona since 1976. Michael has 40 years of automotive detailing experience. He began his detailing career at age 9 by detailing his brother’s ’68 Camaro for a bag of Doritos and six pack of A&W Root Beer. Currently, Cool Auto, Inc. is the city’s largest and longest running professional automotive detailing service since 1992, with 22 full time employees, averaging 8600 cars a year. Cool Auto, Inc. is an incorporated entity that is licensed, bonded and insured. Michael has long term relationships with major accounts like: Jim Click Nissan, Dodge, Chrysler/Jeep, Tucson Chrysler Jeep, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia; Holmes Tuttle Ford, Lincoln, Mercury; Watson Chevrolet, Dobbs Honda, Tucson Volvo, Precision Toyota; Tucson Subaru, Tucson Dodge, Wheel Kinetics and Vantage West Credit Union, with an extensive retail customer base as well.

Exterior Detail Includes: Hand wash, a/c vents, and apply dressing to all vinyl, buff and hand wax. Blackout, carpets, clay, console, dash, door panels, floor mats, glove compartment, grease, grime, mirrors and windows inside and out. On fabric seats and carpets an extractor is used to maximize the cleaning process. Leather condictioner., package tray, plastic trim and tires. Interior Detail Includes: Door jams, remove all tar, seats including seat pockets, steam clean wheel wells and tires

We've brought our regular and classic cars to Cool Auto for several years and each time we are amazed at how they look when finished. The owner, Cassandra, and staff know their jobs. They are professionals and take pride in their work. Most recently they made my 2012 Honda CRV look like new..scratches gone, upholstery perfect, engine clean, etc. They are always busy so an appointment is best. Cassandra is a perfectionist and will be making minuscule corrections as she walks you around your car. And, should you see something, she'll have the guys go over everything again until it is perfect. Don't be fooled by cheaper detailers...you really get what you pay for here as the service takes all day.

Great. My Hummer that I had been hauling around dogs for years smelled like a kennel. Now it looks and smells brand new.

Cool Auto Detail is pretty good. They have a clean customer service and great typist. They are really reasonable about the prices.

Terrible. We specifically went to Cool Auto because the interior and trunk especially needed to be detaiiled. When we were told the detail was complete to went pick up the car and discovered that they never took the mats or carpet out of the trunk. We also found a rip in the headliner and the rear seat had a hole ripped in it as well. The rear seat needed to be repaired and the headliner needed to be completely replaced. Cool Auto did the barest minimum shampoo and wipe down in the cabin and basically sprayed armor all everywhere and did not wipe it down to make it appear shiny, Actually, all that did was leave greasy residue everywhere. The owner of Cool Auto continually interrupted us and cut us off when we were trying to have a conversation and told us that since we used a "Groupon" that we should not expect the same service as someone who payed full price. If there had not been damage to the car's interior I would have left and never went back, but they needed to repair the damages and said that they would do the detail again and be more thorough. It took the better part of a week for them to get the new headliner installed. After waiting all that time, the owner called to let us know the new headliner was in, the rear seat had been repaired and another detail had been performed. He said the car was ready to be picked up. When we arrived, the headliner had been re installed incorrectly. My wife and I had to remove several pieces of the interior trim ourselves and put them back in place correctly, all right there in the parking lot of Cool Auto while the owner stood there and got upset with us because we found all the same problems as the first time the did the job. They never did the second detail, we found the same residue left in the cabin and trunk area as when we took it in initially, There were places with dust still caked in places that were visible to the naked eye, not to mention all the twigs and dirt still left under the hood and around the engine. The part that takes the cake is that the place where they took the car to have the hole ripped in the rear seat repaired did a terrible job, also, and once again the owner of Cool Auto acted like we were the ones who had inconvenienced him by making him take responsibility for the damage. We had to take the car ourselves, race a few miles away just to make it to the upholsterer before he closed at 6 on a Friday evening. and we had to practically beg this guy to fix what he was supposed to have already done before he left for weekend. Cool Auto is not cool. And some of the establishments they partner with are not cool, either. The owner is careless and promotes doing substandard work, especially if you have some sort of discount or coupon. I recommend avoiding this shady establishment at all costs!

Car exterior was washed and shined, tires shined, engine cleaned, interior cleaned. However, the seats were sopping wet (water pooled on my fingers) and as seats dried (took three days) the seats were still soiled and looked unchanged. Will not use this service again.

From start to finish this was a great experience. There is either great management or perhaps just a great group of self-directed employees, or both, who are into their jobs and exhibit a no-nonsense attitude and professionalism. There is an enthusiasm about the business that is refreshing. Once we make time we will head back there with our Ford truck and Jeep. Had general detailing done once at a carwash. Cool Auto beats them hands down. We would recommend them to anyone. As mentioned above WE WILL BE BACK!!! The car looked like new when we pulled out!!!!

They were a bit late opening (10 minutes) but they got the dog hair off the fabric side paneling in the hatch area which I hadn't been able to remove using my home vacuum. Also they didn't have the car ready at 5PM as they had stated but this didn't impact me. It was ready when I got there at 6:30PM. I would definitely recommend them.

My experience went very well. They did a great job with the detailing. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. Their pricing was reasonable and even provided me with where to get a coupon online. I would highly recommend this company to others.

These guys did a really good job. They cleaned the carpet, the seats and the engine in addition to cleaning the exterior. The engine looks brand new.

l Auto DetailI just had two vehicles detailed at Cool Auto Detailing. Cool did an excellent job on both. They even honored Groupon coupons that expired in October, giving me an excellent deal! One of the vehicles, a Cherokee, I haul dogs around in and was a REAL mess; they made it look almost new, going so far as to even repaint the side rock guards. BUT......... my highest recommendation is due to their honesty. When my wife dropped off the Cherokee, she failed to remove the valuables I had left in the vehicle, including my wallet and cellphone. They were safely in a box waiting for me. I raved about how thankful I was about this, but the Owner said it happens all the time, so no big deal. It sure was/is to me!!

I have an '05 Mustage & it was in need of being cleaned...for sure. When they got done it looked like a complete new car. Awesome work. No grease, no dirt under the hood. Inside, they pulled the Q-tips & went to work! It looks great.

As with the Grand Cherokee, I had to wait two weeks for an appointment, Once I got in They went out of their way to make things pleasant. They even let me leave the Acura when I picked up the Cherokee, keeping in a fenced-in area overnight and saving me a second trip back the next morning.
