A previous company had left me terrified I was looking at a lot of expensive work on my DE filter. I had an eye problem, so couldn't see well enough to deal with it myself. Classic came, checked things out, and gave a very fair estimate. They fixed the filter with a simple cleanout. The water quality was worse than expected, so we opted to pump it out and start over. They gave me a good deal on that, then Shawn, my weekly guy took over. Things were still pretty stained, but in the month or so since then, he's gotten most of the stains out, the water balanced, and the pool looking the best it's ever looked. He's also good about getting things locked up and not leaving a mess. The billing is all handled online through email which makes paying easy. They've been very reliable/punctual and polite.

John replaced all our outdated equipment and did a FANTASTIC job. John was professional and educated us on everything! Matt now services our pool and Jacuzzi weekly. Matthew is the BEST!!!! We will not let anyone but Matt service our pool. Matt is INCREDIBLY!!! Our pool chemical balance is PERFECT!!! Matt truly cares about his customers and is professional and educational! We have had NUMEROUS pool cleaners before Matt and they were awful!!!! Matt is great and now services my mother's pool. Thank you Classic Pools for having such great team members!!!!

The owner of Classic Pools, Jim Weber, came out and gave me a quote within a day or two of my calling him and his team started work about six weeks later. His team is great! They were professional and very focused on the job at hand, yet more than willing to answer all of my questions as they completed the work. The job was much bigger than I imagined and really really messy while it was going on but the finished product is gorgeous and the tile work - and the deck painting too - is impeccable. My family has spent more time in the pool this year than ever before because it is just so nice to be in it - it looks brand new! I highly recommend this company!

What a terrifically satisfying experience! After being delayed by incompetence at the first company I contacted (E-Konomy Pool Service, reviewed separately), I was overwhelmed by the responsiveness and competence of Classic Pools. After the first company told me that they couldn't replace my pump until the following week, I called Classic Pools just before 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, and told them that I needed a new variable speed pump, not an estimate--I already knew how much they cost. Jacob called me back within a few minutes, and asked me to text him a photo of my pool equipment so he'd have an idea of what he'd be working with. After receiving the photo Jacob gave me an approximate price, to which I agreed, and set an appointment for noon the next day (Friday). Not only was Jacob on time, but he was early! He went to work and finished the job that afternoon, under a blazing sun, and didn't depart until he had instructed me on how the new pump operated. By dinner time Friday I had a new Pentair Intelliflo 2 VST variable speed pump and two new valves--on the final day to qualify for a $100 rebate from the pump manufacturer. On top of that, the final cost included the $200 rebate from Tucson Electric Power (TEP), PLUS a 10% discount on the entire job because I had printed and submitted an Angie's List discount coupon! Not only would I recommend and use Classic Pools again, I already have! They are in the process of completing the installation of a new control system and doing some re-plumbinb.

I've dealt with a lot of local pool companies over the last 14 years and it has made me a wise cautious
consumer choosing carefully who I do business with. I liked Jim Weber the first time I met him. And
even though I wasn't ready in that moment to do my pool, I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions
with the ease of speaking with a neighbor.
Fast forward about a year later. The crew got here,did a SPLENDID job and were always respectful to myself and my property.
Everything went pretty much as planned and if there was a delay, Marshall was great at communicating with me and
keeping me in the loop.
This is a great company. Run well, by good people.The search is over. I'm sticking with Classic Pools.

"Thank You [member name removed]. Yes we do take pride in our professionalism and are happy you have been satisfied with work completed. We have been communicating with your son and Chris who is helping to organize your paperwork. When we completed work with the new motor a leak was detected and your son said he would fix it himself. When we returned after being called back there was an attempt to repair the leak with epoxy which was not something we did and we provided a new bid to repair leak at pump. We have stayed in contact regarding repairs with Chris. I am glad your current pool service can help you with repairs. Sometimes on older plumbing when one leak is fixed another will become apparent at a different weakened area, hope this is not an ongoing problem at your equipment. I understand a broken basket was also needing to be replaced by your pool company hope that was taken care of also. If a broken basket is not replaced debris can go thru the plumbing and clog up your suction line or equipment. Best regards Classic Pools Inc."
