I've used them to install two pools in the past. There's nothing I don't like about them.

I had just gotten rid of another service and was looking for a new pool company to perform weekly maintenance and to fix any problems that might arise. The gauge was fixed as well as the leak. This service was performed promptly and I was very pleased. However, I was also told that i needed to buy four new filters for my pool and that they would be alternated with the ones in the actual pool equipment. This cost me almost $300.00. The four new filters were stored in the boxes and stayed there until I finally told Clarks that I no longer wanted to use them. Apparently they never checked the filters in use because my new company cleaned the filters and changed them just this week.
Then there was the issue of the weekly service. i told them that i had dogs that I needed to keep inside when they were there and wanted to know the day of the week they would come and clean the pool. I was told that it would probably be
Wednesday or Thursday. They could not narrow it down nor could they give me a time frame. I have to honestly say that I have no idea if anyone came or not on several occasions. There was dirt in the spa that stayed there all week. There were at least three times that I had to call and find out when someone would be out to clean the pool. One week I called on Friday and was told that my cleaner was so busy that he would have to come on Saturday. He did show up but I don't know if he would have come if I hadn't called to find out why no one had been out to clean my pool that week. I was so unhappy with the fact that my pool didn't look that clean and that I had been sold $300 worth of filters that were never taken out of the boxes that I finally called theThursday before Christmas and told them that I wanted to know when my pool would be cleaned and that I no longer would be using their service. I was told that I owed them for October and I immediately sent them an extra check plus paid for December. When the pool guy arrived he said that he didn't know if they worked between Christmas and New Years. But he called me back and said that he would clean it that final week since I had paid for the service for December. Well you guessed it. I NEVER received any call from him or Clarks to do the final cleaning that I had paid for. And the last cleaning lasted 10 minutes and the spa still had the same dirt in it that was there before the pool guy showed up.
While their reviews are good my experience was really a very unpleasant situation. I have had pool cleaning companies before and they always came on the day they said or they would at the very least call. I never got one call saying that my pool would be cleaned on a different day. If you want consistent service, if you want to be sure that your pool is being cleaned and not pay for things you don't need then I would not recommend Clarks.

This is a family run business that I have used before. They provide honest service at a fair price.
Their son, James, replaced my pool filter with a new Pentair cartridge filter. He did a good job. This job cost $1000; new unit installed, old unit removed.
Their son, Mike, cleans pool tile, in addition to working for his dad. He did a good job on my tile. He also drained my pool, as my water was seven (7) years old and overloaded with calcium and other dissolved solids. My only negative with his job is that the cleaning system he uses leaves a powder residue overspray on the area around the pool. He cleaned the pool decking well but did not get all of this material off the gravel and plants near the pool, saying the expected rain would wash them off. In retrospect, I wish he cleaned this up when he performed the service. This job cost about $400.
I would use this company again for both of these services.

Clark's is a family run company and it shows. They were efficient and professional. We will use them whenever we have a problem or need further education on the system.

I had a broken fixture by the side of my pool and the pipe that went under the concrete that was poured for the pool deck had developed a leak. I tried to fix it myself, but I couldn?t do so. I asked different providers for estimates. So Clark?s Pools came by and said that they could do it for just $78. They then went ahead and did it. At that time, I felt that they did a pretty good job, but it's still leaking. I am planning to give them a call back to see what they can do because they gave me the best cost. All the other guys talked about using a jackhammer to remove a section of the pool deck and to redo it, which would have been a pretty expensive project. That may be necessary, but I was impressed with the aspect of Clark?s Pools in trying to keep cost down. They charged me only $78 compared to hundreds of dollars what the other people wanted to charge. They said that they didn?t discover the problem and they said that they didn?t really fix the leak. They were pretty good, but their quality didn?t completely work. I might use them in the future. I am going to see as to how they would respond to my call. I would like to see if they would take another step before I have the deck replaced. I would prefer them to fix it without having to replace the deck since it would be expensive and it is hard to match the color.

The owner is a good person. He has built two pools for us. He listens to us and is very fair. If we have any problems with the pools he would come out and fix it.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS AND HAVE REALLY ENJOYED IT. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH OUR POOL AT ALL. THEY CHARGE ME ONCE A MONTH WHICH IS ALSO VERY NICE.

WE REALLY LIKE WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PUNCTUAL AND VERY PROFESSIONAL WHEN WORKING WITH US. THE PRICE THEY OFFER MIGHT BE A LITTLE HIGH BUT IT IS REASONABLE FOR THE WORK THEY DO.
