I hired them because of Angie's List but I was so disappointed. His workers were so unprofessional. They were speaking a lot of Spanish and they didn't know that one in the house could understand what they were saying. We weren't satisfied wit the quality of the workmanship. It didn't stand up like it's supposed to be working beautifully for years, it looks terrible. I called the owner out, he looked at it and said he'd make it right but we've never heard from him. We went with them because they were cheaper than Rogo's. His showroom was great, his picture's and everything looks great but it's not a true representation of what we got. I've contacted him but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone else.

update: Both front porch and back patio are cracking and chipping off. Jeff completely redid the back patio once for this same problem but stated he wouldn't be back again. That should have been a warning he didn't expect this product to work. It isn't. We have an expensive mess on our hands. I contacted the company of the thinset overlay but they referred me back to Jeff and said it was an installation issue. Where it is chipping off the concrete is as thin as a sheet of paper. After reading several sites, this doesn't seem to be thick enough for an exterior application. We are continuing to seek a solution before paying big bucks to have it scraped off the surfaces. Jeff is a nice guy and I wish I could recommend his company but buyer beware.

I worked directly with the owner, Jeff. He was courteous and professional. I had carpet replaced with wood flooring in two bedrooms and concrete flooring poured in the den, kitchen, hall and great room. The color of the concrete flooring was not exactly what we had originally decided on and had to be re-done. Jeff followed through and had his guys come back on a Saturday to re-do the flooring in the correct shade. A year later, the wood flooring has held up nicely. The concrete flooring not as nice, but that is the nature of concrete. Lots of hairline cracks and discoloring. Will eventually cover it with tile.

I had new hardwood floors installed by them and they did a lousy job. We are still picking glue out from between the boards. They didn't even remove the doors to shave them down so they would swing freely. They just took a hacksaw and cut it while the doors were hung still. It took them 16 months to do the work. It was terrible. He would send different crews at at different times. So the demo guys would come out, but no clean up crew would show up. So some demo work would be done and then the mess would be left for the next day. I have never been so angry, disappointed and ripped off. There is still places in my home where you walk and you can tell the wood is not adhered to the flooring below. It sounds very hollow.
Response from CIMACO FLOOR SERVIC INC
"Miss [Member Name Removed] hired Cimaco to laminate floors in August 2013. when flooring was purchased and delivered to her house two weeks later she decided she did not like her choice. Miss [Member Name Removed] asked if she could switch to hardwood, we reloaded and returned material at no additional charge to her. Miss [Member Name Removed] found a hardwood that she liked and we ordered material and delivered it to her again at no additional charge. Job was completed in 3 months not 16 months. Cimaco had to do the work in pieces since Miss [Member Name Removed] was living in the house, had lots of furniture and other trades working on other improvements. once job was completed Miss [Member Name Removed] and the owner Jeff sat down talked about job and final invoices were paid because she was happy with the work. A couple of times Cimaco returned to reinforce a couple of hollow spots in the floor and again Miss [Member Name Removed] stated she was happy with everything. When Miss [Member Name Removed] had a flood in her house we helped her and the restoration company out with all information so they could fix or replace floors. There has been no other contact from Miss [Member Name Removed] since then until this review was written, and we can say, we were quite surprised upon seeing this.We did everything we could to make Miss [Member Name Removed] happy and again, are totally surprised by this review."

They showed up on time each day, were very friendly, and completed the work very quickly. It turned out nicely- there are a few spots where the stain is a bit uneven, but you have to know where to look. I noticed several of these spots during the job and when I pointed them out they were fixed without hassle, I just didn't notice all of them. I'd use Cimaco again-- but inspect the work a bit more carefully during the process to make sure everything is perfect.

In the end the patio overlay turned out great.  The first attempt started chipping off  after several months but since there was damage to other surfaces due to sloppiness, we hadn't settled up yet so still in touch with the owner.  The redo was no small job and was done at no expense to us.  Second time patio came out perfect.   The damage to surrounding surfaces (stucco house walls, flagstone walkway, plant pots and cool deck was avoidable if they took the time to prep and protect adjoining surfaces.  Despite insisting they prep, sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't.  We weren't always home to supervise.  You really need to keep an eye on prep, especially protecting all surrounding surfaces. The owner is very honest and wanted to fix things to our satisfaction.  He didn't ask for the balance due until he came out and made sure we were happy with end result.  The workers were friendly, helpful but would blame each other if there was an issue with damage.  On occassion they would even blame one of us but always quick to back down and fix what the problem was.  Because of the owners dedication to a solid end product and the workers overall couteous behavior and effort to correct things once the blame game stopped, we would work with them again.

UPDATE:
6/2015 - Have been keeping an eye on cracking that is forming on both front and back covered porch/patio. Pieces are now lifting off exposing grey concrete underneath. Some cracks are quite long. I will update this review as I hear back from the owner.

This was an excellent experience from first communication to the end product. I phoned another company the same day who was highly recommended on Angie's List. They never phoned back. Cimacois a family run company who takes pride in their work and customer service.

They did not show up on the day they were suppose. They came and left randomly, the floor does hot look good , it does notmatch any of the other hardwood floors in the house, which they had done previously. I called the owner who did come out andthey were suppose to call a reshedule to fix the the floors, I called them and they said they would have to get back to me, it nowhas been four days since the owner came. I would not use them again, as this was only 370 square feet. I am not happy\with the reponse time and it was very unprofessional they way they went in at out. It took them three days to do one bedroom.

Jeff, from Cimaco Flooring, met with me to measure the square footage of the work site and to go over exactly what was to be performed. A brochure of available finishes was provided by Jeff, and I choose a finish that I wanted to be applied throughout the house. Jeff let me know that his team would be able to begin almost immediately and that the work should take approximately 1.5 weeks to complete. All of the work, through the application of the overlay, went smoothly. The problems began with the application of the stain to the overlay... After several coats of stain were applied to the overlay, I noticed that the floors looked nowhere near as nice as the example in the brochure I was provided. The stain was very light and had been sprayed sporadically around the floor (some areas had a distinct pattern while other areas appear to have had stain spilled on it). I contacted Jeff and he explained that the color would all come together once the sealer was applied. After a few days of back-and-forth, I finally agreed that Jeff and his crew could begin sealing the floors. After the initial sealing of the floor, I once again noticed the sporadic staining of the overlay and the lack of color and pattern--the floors looked nothing like the finish I had chosen from the brochure. In addition, after a few coats of sealer, the floors were still matte-like and were very rough. After a couple of conversations with Jeff, he agreed to sand down the overlay since the sealer would not be able to mask the roughness of the overlay. In addition, he agreed to re-stain the floors to more closely match the finish chosen from the brochure. After the partially-finished floors were sanded down and another coat of stain applied, I was still not happy with the finish and the variances in intensity from one room to the next (ex. one room was very light while another room appears to have had stain spilled on the floor and rubbed around). After more conversations with Jeff, he agreed to apply stain throughout the floor to provide a more consistent finish. In addition, he was going to fix several areas were the overlay had chipped up during sanding and while moving buckets of stain throughout the house--the overlay is extremely brittle, and even after finished, any light blows to the finished product will cause the overlay underneath to chip up and the stained finish to be lost. Long story short, we had to terminate the overdue project after three weeks because we had painters scheduled and were getting ready to move into our new home. The finished product looked nothing like the brochure, it cracked easily, hairs and drywall were sealed into the finished product, large holes in the overlay were filled in with sealer and stain, and the work site was not cleaned (walls had stain overspray; driveway and walkway have stain throughout since it was mixed on those surfaces).

The initial contact was very quick and easy, we had an estimate in a day or so. The work started on time and went very smoothly. The workers were friendly and professional, and the quality of the finished product was exactly what we desired. Several other companies refused to perform the service (stating various reasons) but Cimaco didn't try to change our minds or upsell us to another more expensive product or service. They understood our needs and were able to meet them. It took a little bit longer to complete the project than anticipated; though we did ask for extra coat of stain and we were out of town for a week so it was delayed (our fault). On the negative side: the workers did tend to overlook certain details, like thoroughly cleaning the floors (we had some things sealed in like pieces of tape, etc).

He did a really good job but it took him a little while to get started on it. He is very professional and you could tell he knew what he was doing. I would use him again but my wife probably wouldn't, just because she had to wait.

I found the miscommunication, disorganization, and delays to be inexcusable. When I questioned the workers about anything (supervisors and supplies rarely appeared) on three occasions they rudely threatened to walk off the job. It was already behind schedule, and they knew a family was supposed to be moving in. Incredibly unprofessional. Bottoms of walls were trashed by cimaco so that repainting is now required. Other floors were dirtied by workers, as well as the tracks for closets, which all have to be cleaned. Had to repeatedly ask workers to not leave dangerous razor blades scattered around the property where children could get them. Had to repeatedly ask to have scattered open containers of toxic materials removed. Workers showed up and left whenever they felt like it. All information about when what would be done or ready was either vague or incorrect. I would not use this company again. It also cost me 3-4 days loss of tenant move in time.

I will use this company again. They were extremely reliable, I was very happy with the work they did for us in both places. Both at the time of estimate and when we contracted for the job, people were there as promised. I believed we were charged very fairly for the work that was performed and the great quality of the job.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. WHEN THEY REMOVED THE DAMAGED FLOORING THEY WERE GOOD TO HAUL IT AWAY. THEY WERE GOOD TO WORK AROUND THE PLUMBER THAT WAS REPLACING PIPES.
