I am extremely disappointed for Christie’s service. Will never do business with it again. It installed a microwave with ventilation over the range. But refuse to connect the outlet to the fume hood over the countertop cabinet. The Rite-way contractor who installed the fume ductwork was shocked on Christie’s attitude. I spent $517 including $149 installation plus another $99 for their return. Still they can’t get the job done. They are very rude.

Do not use this company! In April 2025, a serviceman came out to repair my refrigerator ice-maker, the part needed ordered so I paid and awaited them to contact me. Several days later, there was standing water in the kitchen floor, under the cabinets and in the exterior wall. I took photos and video and sent them to the service manager John at Christies’ Appliance and Mattress. John had Brian from Economy, Plumbing come out and assess the issue. I should’ve known better when Brian said ‘ I am the owner of this plumbing company and I will tell you the truth not what Christies’ Appliance wants me to‘. Obviously these two companies work together to cover one another’s complaint issues. John said that Brian at Ecomomy Plumbing reported that the supply water valve was old and probably leaked in the past and that they were not responsible for any damages. I gave him every opportunity to do what was right. They have no integrity, shame on them. Don’t let them into your house! Stephen Durant.

It should be 0! Employees make false promises and upper management won’t return calls! I will never do business with this company again. I visited the Broadway several times as I was redoing my kitchen. I spoke to 2 different salespeople about the appliances I was purchasing. When I finally made a decision I purchased a downdraft fan I was assured I had 30 days to return it if needed. I ordered the fan. When it arrived I was told to go to the Fort Lowell location to pick it up. When I picked it up the employee there also assured me I had 30 days to return it. On all occasions I had another person with me that heard me get reassured I could return it. When I got the fan home I found out it would not work with my appliances. (The appliances the sales person knew I was looking at!) I called to see where I needed to return it only to be told they do net accept returns. I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to Brett the store manager and explained the situation he said to just don’t accept returns on ordered items. I asked to speak to his manager. Brett called me back and told me the district manager would not be calling me back and they would not be accepting the return! I now have. $1,300.00 item I can not use. Do not believe what the employees tell you!!!!!

Christie's appliance came in last November, that's eleven months ago, to replace the ice cube maker in our refrigerator, which we bought from them. The repairman didn't tighten the fresh water valve at the source on the wall behind the unit when he visited. Two months later we noticed the bases of our built in cabinetry swelling and after pulling the refrigerator from the wall saw that the source of the leak was a loose fitting. We were not aware of the leak because the water ran away to the back of the unit and was not visible in our kitchen. The repairmen returned and noted responsibility for the leak IN WRITING. However, his company, Christie's refused to take responsibility for the mold abatement and rebuilding of the cabinetry. They continued to push back, blaming the plumbing in our home and a host of other excuses. They claimed that the unit did not need to be removed from the wall for the installation and therefore it was impossible that the loose fitting was their responsibility. The repairman had lied to management about the install and I suggested they fire the employee and/or bring him and management out to our home to verify our case. Our homeowners insurance covered much of the several thousand dollar abatement and repair work. But the insurance company should not have to accept the liability and cost for Christie's poor work and mismanagement. For many months Christie's refused to send the information regarding the claim to their insurance carrier so that the issue could be resolved between the two parties. The dispute is now in the hands of a subrogation network but settlement is months away. So we are still waiting for the subrogation to conclude and hopefully our insurance company and my wife and I can be reimbursed. A very frustrating experience for us and an unethical and irresponsible pattern for a business that prides itself on serving the public. WE HAVE NEVER EVEN HEARD AN APOLOGY FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR AND IRRESPONSIBILITY!

The new refrigerator was delivered with a dent. The delivery person tried to strong arm me to accept this and that this happens all the time. I would then receive a replacement part for the damaged part. I did not accept the delivery. I went to the store where I purchased this, talked to the same sales person. Even though he admits that he was surprised they would not deliver another refrigerator but rather give me back my money. We wrote them a check. They would not write us a check because they were unsure if our check cleared their bank. I checked with our bank and the check had cleared. They told me I would have to wait for this check in the mail. I tried to do the right thing by buying local and supporting local. A big mistake. I didn't buy a scratch and dent appliance.

Great service. I thought I would lose all the food in my refrigerator. They were able to get me a same-day service call. Repairman was prompt and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the needed part on his van, so I was up and running right away.

I bought a new dishwasher on Nov 7, 2015 after washing dishes by hand for about 2 years since my previous dishwasher also bought at Christie's in 2003 had broken down. The new dishwasher was installed the next week. I returned two days later to the store because I had a full dishwasher of dirty dishes. I tried three different types of washing cycles with no success. I wanted my money back and the dishwasher removed from my home. Two days later two of Christie's personnel showed up in my home to verify the dishwasher did not work. However, they did not remove it. Christie's replaced the dishwasher. However, I had a broken dirty dishwasher in my home until they replaced it. More importantly, it was irrelevant to Christie's my appointments I had made on the day they wished to deliver the new dishwasher - appointments that were made weeks before I bought the dishwasher. Once the delivery person showed up at my house, his attitude was that he was doing me a favor by showing up early. When asked to stay to prove the dishwasher completes a washing cycle, he replied that is not his job. I explained to him the situation that had brought us to this day, his reply was the equivalent of the joke "above my pay grade". Yes...I have a new dishwasher that works...Yes...I bought an extended warranty from Christie's that I hope will cover any future surprises as I do not have any confidence on the quality of the dishwasher. Sadly it is the highest rated dishwasher available. Sadly I feel I was treated no better than I would have been in the big box stores.

The installers came punctually and did the work effectively. The only issue was a scratched tile. They said the company would fix it at not cost. It took several days before they put me in contact with a person from the tile company they work with. I set an appointment but the tile people cancelled on me. They put me in contact with a different company. They have not been able to come to my house and fix the tile. Christie's seems not to care. They have not done any follow up to make sure they honor their word.

We purchased a gas range. Sales person was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to steer our purchase. Price was better then Big Box store and they installed it 2 days after we purchased. Their techs came to the house right on time and hook up was included in the delivery charge as was the line to connect to our gas valve. Techs were very informative, explained that we needed to turn on the oven for 30 minutes to burn out the oil inside. Also tips on the burners and how to register appliance. Very personable folks. The whole experience was FIRST CLASS and we will never appliance shop anywhere else. Washer and Dryer next! :) A++++

Excellent.Our service man Mike came & found problem with ice maker unit.Parts were ordered & installed within a week.I was called a few days before final installation and an hour before our service man arrived on the day of installation
