We needed carpet cleaning as a prelim step to putting our house on the market. Our berber carpets are about 12 years old.  About 2 years ago, we had used, and were relatively satisfied with, a major national carpet steaming company.  A friend strongly recommended, however, that we try Chateau.   We set up the appointment. The crew of one arrived on time. He asked when the carpets were last cleaned and patiently listened to our explanations and stories on some long-standing problems with seams, discolored spots. etc. He treated the trouble spots and cleaned the major carpet areas in living room, hallway, and four bedrooms in about 1 hours.  He reviewed the problem areas again and gave us basic instructions for getting the most out of our cleaning.  He presented a bill for the amount originally quoted,and we paid by check. From start to finish, the total job took under 2 hours.
