Laura from Canyon was wonderful. She listened to our needs and desires and did a fantastic job of helping us to realize them. She was very responsive to any concerns or problems and was a delight to know. Coordination with the general contractors and trades was excellent.

Bob called us with the estimate and came out with the contract for us to sign on July 22, 2013. He called when the cabinet was ready and the install date was set for September 5, 2013. He brought a crew member to assist and explained in detail what to accomplish. Everything went great and we are well pleased with the replacement cabinet. It is definitely quality work and worth every penny of the cost. We could not have asked for any better service and highly recommend this company.

They're incredible! Tom Grimes was our contractor and he organized everything so well. He knew all of the best people to hire. We couldn't have been happier.

My previous review of Canyon Cabinetry was based on the fact that they were non communicative regarding the status of our vanity. After I wrote the review Susan called and was FANTASTIC. She arrainged to have the vanity delivered today( we received it at the time agreed upon). We are very pleased with the vanity. Just as important to me is customer service. Susan realized how upset we were and she reacted properly, by doing all she could to please us. Susan, Sorry for the bad review, I acted out of frustration. Thanks so much for being a professional. Canyon Cabinetry knows how to treat a customer....

The order was placed on March 26, 2012. We were told it takes 2-3 weeks to build and ship. A week later were were contaced by Susasn, the person we were dealing with, that the vanity will be a week late due to a back log at the factory. Our contractor finished both bathrooms on May 7. We called Susan to find out what was the status of the vanity. She told us it would be shipped on May 11, and takes 10 days. We called again on May 25 and left a message for Susan. She did not return our call. So, we went to the Canyon to find out the status of the vanity, only to be told its been in for a week. Susan did not bother to call us, nor did anyone else bother to call. We were due to leave on an extended trip on June 1, so every day was important to us. I spoke with our contractor today and he cannot pick up the vanity as he is on vacation until June3. We had to readjust our travel plans because Canyon Cabinetry was so inefficient, and down right disorganized, they couldnt or wouldnt return calls. I strongly suggest ...DO NOT USE CANYON CABINETRYand gt;and gt;and gt;and gt;and gt;

UPDATE: 9/02/2011 Canyon Cabinetry completed fixing everything they promised. Susan kept in constant contact, gave me updates and timelines. The installer was able to fix everything without damaging the installed cabinet top.

UPDATE: Susan from Canyon came today (6/18/11) and went over the problems. She checked and measured the areas where I had problems and provided solutions for each one. She was professional, made of list of each item, had the original contract on hand and understood my concerns. She was honest with what could and could not be done, which I appreciate. We re-checked the shelves which are plywood not MDF and she is replacing those shelved which have not held up. Susan is doing what is needed to make it right, even after 4 years.

My Do's for this listing are as follows: Do read your contract and understand fully what is and is not included. Do insist that your designer be present on the job when installation begins, that way they can ensure that the plan is followed.Don't hesitate to go back to your contractor and explain what isn't working.

6/1/2007: The design phase seemed to go well. The designer appeared to listen to my requirements and follow along with my logic on how to handle a large quantity of books. We agreed to use stock sized to stay within the budget. She would handle the electrical and cable relocations. We signed the contract which seemed pretty straight forward.

Then came installation. The electrician came and did a lousy job of moving an electrical switch. His work was exceedingly sloppy, leaving wide gaps in the wallboard around the cover plate. Next the cabinets arrived. Lo and behold the shelves were made of particle board and the bookcase sizes for one wall left 6and quot; to be covered with a filler board. Next, the cabinet installer arrived and cut a hole for the electrical in the back of the bookcase not on in the kick plate as I had instructed the designer, who by the way, did not bother to check any of the work in progress. I called her and complained in very direct language, upset that I was basically left with a bookcase electrical outlet which was unuseable. Thats when and quot;extra chargesand quot; came in. It's a change order she told me because it wasn't in the contract specifically. So, more money and one ruined bookcase later, the bookcases were finished but the bootbox was still outstanding and a drawer I wanted for a built-in desk was also sitting around. When I asked how she was going to install the drawer she brought out some truely ugly side panels, also MDF, and explained that I needed to expend another 2-3,000 dollars for countertops before she could install the drawer.

The bootbox languished for nearly 6 months before my husband finally called them and asked when it would be installed. Oh, there was no instruction from the designer to demolish the drywall box under the fireplace so that's extra. Everything was extra!

This experience was horrible, expensive, nightmare. There is no way I would recommend these people to anyone. After a few months the bookshelves sagged under the weight of the books we own.

Everything was great. I initially stopped by the showroom and spoke with Tom. He showed me various woods and finishes for the cabinets. He even let me take doors home to see which one I liked the best. He drew up plans and an estimate within the week. After signing the contract and paying the deposit, we had to wait about 4-6 weeks for the cabinets to be delivered. Once they arrived work started immediately. The old kitchen was demolished, drywall repaired and plumbing capped off. The new cabinets and microwave oven were installed in one and half days. The electiricians replaced outlets and installed a new outlet for the island. The tile layers perfectly matched up the section of slab that was exposed after the new island was built. (How they did that I still don't know!!) After the counter tops were made and installed the plumbers hooked up the sink and dishwasher and the tile folks came back to install the backsplash--which looks amazing!! The work took about a month to complete. That was because the material I had selected for the counter tops was back-ordered. However once the material arrived the work went very quickly.

Very happy with the experience of dealing with Bob Harvey in the design process and selecting the finish. Very happy with the end result. Quality cabinets expertly installed. Some parts had to be customized to accommodate a kickspace heater under the vanity, and that was handled beautifully, you'd hardly know it was there if it wasn't pointed out. I have more cabinet work coming up and plan to use CC again. This report is late because of personal circumstances, but better late than never! I'll attach photos later if the system allows.
