This is the tird time I've been to get my cars serviced. I never call ahead - just stop in. since I work just a couple of blocks away, I have no problem leaving my car for a few hours.
Every time they have graciously fitted me in, done the work asked, checked other systems and, in two cases, gave me a special price that I did not know I qualified for!
Every time the car has been ready when I returned, the price is very reasonable and I have been advised of the other checks they have done (mostly just telling me of upcome regular maintenance.) They have never tried to upsell me or worry me about potential dire issues like many garages do.
I like these folks and will continue taking my cars here!

All this was done in 3 visits. 1. Came in for an oil change, which was completed. A small oil leak was noted. Received a list of additional maintenance needed and prioritized, because I was low on funds, and could not do it all right then. We discussed basic engine maintance. Since I was at least the 3rd owner of this vehicle, and the mileage was at 120K+, we decided that timing belt (internal to the engine) had to be changed (2003 Mitsubish Galant), 2. BrakeMaster's picked up my car for me, took it in and replaced the timing belt. I had just had surgery and couldn't drive, but I had the funds to complete this maintenance item. 3. A month later, I was able to have the rest of the work completed. Every time I've come in there since, the manager asks me about how my health is doing. He probably has 25-50 people in and out of there daily, but he remembers me by name when I come in every 3-4 months. No, they don't do a 10-minute oil change, but you know, when you leave, that they've looked at your vehicle carefully, and no problems have been overlooked.
