Bloom's Heating & Cooling

I had Bloom's Heating & Cooling out twice and they were exceptional both times. They are A1 top of the list in customer service. I can't say enough good about them. I called the home warranty company and they sent out another company and Bloom's told me to watch out because they heard this other company had tried to put add-ons that weren't needed. Bloom's did the work for the amount of money and upgraded it and I didn't pay any extra. The other company was asking $600 additional for the upgrade. They were incredible. I'm never calling anybody else. I trust him because he went out of his way to warn me about what other companies did. He said "be careful with add-ons, call me back and I'll let you know for sure whether you need something" and I did. The other company wanted to put new legs on my system for $300. He said "you don't need it, the legs up there is fine." Had I not had Bloom's out first, I wouldn't have known this and I would struggled to pay $600. They cleaned up things that weren't even their mess and it surprised me. They hauled everything away, they didn't have to do that either and they didn't charge for it. I wouldn't call anybody else.

A different company was sent out by my home warranty insurance company.  It was decided that the cooler needed to be replaced.  I got a bid from Bloom's for $1,286 total for everything including taxes. The other company said I needed some additional items that were above the replacement cost that the insurance company was covering.  They said I needed $150 in water line modifications, $400 in duct work modifications, and $150 in modifications to the legs of the unit.  That's $700 MORE than the insurance company was willing to cover.  Bloom's said I didn't need all these modifications as the unit to be installed was configured exactly like the one being replaced.  Bloom's said the modification to the water line was a $0.35 part and couldn't figure out why the other company wanted to charge me $150.  I asked the home warranty company to cash out and called Bloom's.  They were punctual, efficient, fast, and cleaned up everything and hauled away all the debris.  I am only calling Bloom's to do heating/cooling work from now on.  I've learned my lesson.

The gentleman showed up exactly when he said he would.  He was courteous, knowledgable and quick.  The price was very reasonable. I'm also going to need a new evaporative cooler and am going to purchase from Bloom's and have them install.  I was that impressed.

My Home Warranty company received my service request and assigned Bloom's as the service provider.  They called promptly, and were able to arrainge a same-day service for me.  This was during our 100+ temp days, so I really appriciate the swift response.  The tech arrived within the earlier part of the time frame estimate and got right to work.  He explained what the problem could be, based on my description of what had happened.  But, he also checked other areas of possible fault in case there may have been more to it.  Not only did he fix the problem, he also secured my wobbly thermostat and added coolant to the system, since it was low.  Afterwards, he gave me a run down of what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future.  He worked steadily and was patient with my dog and my many questions.  I'll be glad to hire this company again!  Thanks for the great service!
