After calling a local plumber to give me an estimate to fix the leak on my incoming water line. He opened up the wall and dug a hole on the outside of my garage. He then told me that it looked like a tree root had caused the damage, and that the leak was just below ground level in my slab. He then called his manager who stopped by to look at it, and procceded to tell me they would have to cut the slab. But the slab is post tension, so he would have to call an expert to proceed further. He stated that he would call me next day. two days later I called him and he said he was still checking and would call the following day. I never heard from him again. I decided to go on angie's list and find another plumber. Best decision I ever made! After looking at several area plumbers, I came upon Best Price Plumbing. They had very good reviews, so I decided to give them a call. The gentleman that I spoke to said he would send someone that afternoon. When Tony arrived he assesed the problem and told me he could have it fixed no problem. He was done in about an hour and had run new pipe and did not have to cut any of the slab. I was overjoyed at the outcome and thankfull that I had called Best Price Plumbing. The cost for labor and materials was $380.00, Which wasn't terrible. I am highly recomending this business and will personally use their services in the future. P.S. Tony told me he couldn't find any root damage and it more likely occured from a construction staple that had rusted and eventualy dissolved.

Provider was able to respond the day of the call without charging emergency rates.  Worker was professional, response time was as indicated by the office, job was finished in about an hour and a half, so rates seem to be in line with plumbing rates.  He had a well equipped truck with the necessary items on hand to make the repair.

Contractor was very responsive and worked us into their schedule quickly.  The owner came within two days to provide repair options and estimate. Work was completed within a week. They dug a trench, removed the old water line which was too close to the surface and had been damaged by years of driveway use. They replaced the pipe with Pex tubing, but decided that it would be less susceptible to damage if placed inside steel conduit and at greater depth.  They replaced the fittings at each end, back filled the ditch and raked out.
The next morning there was a leak in our drip irrigation line near one end of the repair job.  I called and they were able to patch the irrigation line later that day, no charge.
We have used this contractor before because the owner runs a tight ship -- very efficient and organized.  The owner calls to let you know the plumbers are on their way, and follows up afterwards to be sure we were happy with the job. This is a very well run business.

He even took the time to use a nail to carve out all the lime from the jets in the bowl. Never thought to do this myself.

Best Price arrived shortly ahead of scheduled time with 2 plumbers and a helper. They worked for almost 2 hours replacing new shut off line and valve, new wax ring, 2 new Fluid Masters, 2 new flappers in two bathrooms. They cleaned up after work completion and I believe that $186 was a fair price for the parts and labor.

He was very professional and did all the work as he described it to me. He had to make three house calls to get the job completed, and his service goes above and beyond of what actually needs to be done. Bert is a kind and professional artisan, whom I've used for over fifteen years, and would recommend him to anyone.
