Called Berkley at 8 am in the morning, and they were here by noon. They fixed the valve and charged a reasonable price. Great guys that know their stuff. Will definitely use again.

Berkley Irrigation provided excellent and professional services.  I had an undetected leak in my irrigation system that cost me an extraordinarily high water bill.  I called Berkley Irrigation and Paul responded quickly and came to my house the same day.  He diagnosed the leak and recommended replacing the entire irrigation system due to its deterioration with age.  I thought it was going to be labor intensive and expensive, but the work was very reasonably priced.  Paul and his crew came to my house a few days later and finished the whole job in only one day.   The work was extremely clean and professional.  I am happy to have a brand new system that works perfectly and is hassle-free.  Paul even came back later to double check the work they had done and to teach me how to operate the control timer.  He was pleasant to work with and I would recommend his services to everyone.

The response to my inquiry was rapid as was the appointment to fix the problem.  He was well equipped with a large van that acted as a traveling workshop and parts store.  The work was done promptly and successfully.

I was prepared for a big job that involved digging down to the valve and replacing it and anticipating a job of $200-300 dollars.  Paul immediately diagnosed the problem and simply replaced the working elements of the valve and the solenoid and left the housing intact, thus avoiding  unnecessary digging and labor costs.  The cost was quite modest.  The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the area was left without a trace of mess.  There was no effort to sell me anything I didn't  need and what was done was explained clearly.   Definitely will use next time there is an irrigation problem.

Has a helper-he did all of the labor-knew what he was doing and fixed it in no time at all. It's not that he charged too much and the $65.00 is just a guess as I don't remember--could be that I am cheap.

They arrived when they said that they would and did a great job. Both Paul and Carlos were very friendly, professional, and happy to answer questions. I will definitely use them again.

The work was preformed perfectly and the bid was reasonable and accurate. The contractor arrived on time, did the job, and left the yard looking beautiful. He met with me to teach me how to use the new timer system. I am planning to have him do the same type of work on another house in the very near future.

homeThey came on time and were very professional. They quickly assessed our system and found several issues that needed to be addressed. The leak was found and corrected. When he was showing us how to program the system he found that the way the system was programmed that we were not watering effectively nor efficiently. This was all corrected in about an hour. We will be using them in the future and will recommend to our friends and relatives.

The workers are outstanding and installed/repaired even more items than were described in the original agreement at no additional charge. Mr. Berkley is a true professional and I would recommend him and his crew to anyone needing irrigation system repairs or a new installation. It is a real pleasure to work with a company like this.

Before I had my irrigation system replaced I had abeen fixing leaks weekly. I called Berkley Irrigation and the owner came himself and fixed some of the problems. I decided later to replace the whole system. I received a rather high quote and checked some other companies out. The quote was about the same so I went with Berkley since I knew they were service oriented and prompt. I now have a brand new irrigation system that has 7 zones instead of the 4 I had. My garden is on a seperate line which I love. I also know if I have any problems the owner told me to not hesistate to call and he would fix it without any problem. I would highly recommend this company.

Outstanding professionals - exceptional work!

We contacted Berkley Irrigation to investigate existing sprinkler system as a possible cause of high water bills and to repair water leaks overlooked by regular gardener/landscaper. Paul Berkley and his assistant Carlos arrived right at the scheduled time and after a general orientation tested all of the sprinkler circuits individually for problems. Several leaks were repaired and a sprinkler serving no purpose was capped off. Paul examined all the circuit timings and stated that in his estimation they were appropriate and in light of the number of items watered, the water bills were not unreasonable. He did not try to sell us any of his services but made some general recommendations about watering circuits and plant types. He provided an itemized bill for time and materials. Paul and Carlos work efficiently together and were both very pleasant and helpful in response to my questions. When it comes time to replace or upgrade any parts of the sprinkler system I would feel confident to call Berkley Irrigation to do quality work at a fair price.

Paul arrived promptly (and early) on each visit. He went through the yard with me as I described the problems with the old system and what we wanted done. He provided a detailed, written estimate and, on the day of the work, showed me exactly what they planned to do. The work was done quickly and high-quality parts were installed. Paul extended the work (at no extra charge) to include an additional water zone because he felt it would serve out needs better. When the work was complete Paul took me through the entire project, explaining what was done, how to operate the system (in clear, concise terms), and how to properly maintain the system. We checked the system for problems and he made some minor adjustments (adding a drip that his crew had missed). The system has worked perfectly and I'm quite happy with the work.

Paul and Gary were extremely professional yet very responsive to needs and questions. When Paul had to replace the first part that he put in, he did not charge us because he adheres to the quoted estimate. Together they completed the repair quickly and efficiently and totally clean the area afterward.

He does a very good job. But he is also very expensive. His work is without a question some of the best around. He can be a little arrogant and pompous. He takes the stand like he is doing brain surgery and the only one that can do it. He is probably better equipped than most people that do the work. He has the essential tools for the job that is needed.

Very happy, will definitely use him for next irrigation issue.

I was doubtful I would find anyone to come out to our far NW area very soon, luckily Paul was scheduled to be nearby the day after I called. He arrived on time, with a well supplied truck so that there was no delay for going for parts. They charged a $60 service call, a small amount for the couplings and tubes required for repair and an extra $20 for labor. I believe it took them at least 1 hour to finish the job. It would have taken us half a day or longer to do this work. Paul is very professional and thorough. We did not ask for an estimate beforehand since the nature of this type of work can be difficult to gage before arriving at the job site.

They arrived on time, check everything, made some repairs and charged exactly what they said they would charge. Their prices are excellent!
