I cannot rave enough about our experience with Bambauer Irrigation. After years of trying keep our yard watered (mainly with sprinklers and hours standing in the summer heat with a hose) we finally called multiple companies in town to have irrigation installed. Ed called us back quickly, was professional, informative and a pleasure to talk to as he walked us through a quote and the process. The quality of his work is amazing and he found solutions for keeping our large and challenging yard alive and happy. We were also so thankful that he helped us find a wifi based irrigation system that works well with the rhythm of our lives and allows us to manage our yard even when we are away on work. Ed arrived on time for the initial estimate, discussed the scope of the work, came up with a very reasonable quote and scheduled to come several days later to perform the repair. Ed Bambauer came to my home to assess my irrigation needs. I learned that I had been watering too much which explained the damp earth in places that shouldn't have been wet. Originally, I thought my lines were broken. He buried some lines that should have been buried by the original installer, and thus protected them from further weathering. He built up the wells around plants where overwatering had eroded the earth away. He installed emitters for five plants that were better suited to the amount of water they needed and adjusted the flow so I would not overwater hereafter. He also changed out the emitters in the two plants in the front of my house and saw to it that they were actually working. He advised on how long to water and how often depending on the season. He said that the citrus trees were turning yellow because of too much watering. I felt that because he provided information that educated me about my irrigation equipment and my plants' needs that I better understood what was going on.

Ed arrived @ the promised time. In a remarkably short time he had all systems tested and working properly. He demonstrated thorough understanding and professional decorum. It was a total delight to find this quality of service in this profession in Tucson.

Ed was punctual and very professional. He replaced the diaphram and then checked the system to make sure that both zones were working and were shutting off. The job took less than an hour and the price was right. I would definitely hire Ed again and will recommend him to friends.

Contacted Ed Bambauer and he showed up as agreed. The leak was repaired perfect.

Within two hours of informing him of my situation, Ed came out and personally fixed all the problems. He found plugged emitters, a leak, and that a valve was not opened completely and some emitters were missing. Most importantly, he found the timer had been incorrectly set (for many years!) to water too much per application, but not enough to sustain the plants between waterings. In a nutshell, with one hour of labor he fixed problems that have plagued us for years, reduced our water bill and made our plants much happier and healthier. You owe it to yourself to find an experienced irrigation expert like Ed Bambauer. I couldn’t be more satisfied.
