Babich Tile

Greg Babich was the hardest working member of the renovation team. And, he was an artist in his work. Absolutely meticulous. Every pattern was first laid out on the floor with lasers and chalk lines. All the tile corners were perfectly cut and matched. He has a good eye for color and pattern and I valued his opinion. He was very easy to work with. He had to shave down the Monterey tiles to fit the risers. He also had to trim some Mexican tiles to fit with the metric sized New Zealand tiles. Tedious work but necessary for the aesthetic appearance. He used multiple grout colors to match the rather exuberant tiles that I chose for the powder room and upstairs bath. He allowed one color to dry before using another so that there would be no bleed through. He cleaned up every day. He was punctual and his helpers were industrious. I cannot imagine there is any tile job he could not do. He has our unreserved admiration and we recommend him highly. I already have another project for him.
