I value this company highly because they hold me, the customer, in their highest regard. When I needed a complete replacement, because of a shortage of air conditioning parts, I had to wait. During that time, the hottest temperatures prevailed. My a/c went out twice and both times a repair person came out that day and made sure I was comfortable. I want to thank Brandon for the after hours repair and Adam and Tom for the expert and fine a/c replacement. This company, and their attention to detail, made me a very satisified customer.

Soop arrived and went right to work. He checked the A/C unit inside, explained what he was doing and answered my questions on how to have it run most efficiently. He inspected the exhaust fan outside, and then checked the temperatures at all the inside vents. Soop was efficient, never stopped working and covered everything other techs have and more. He was patient and informative the entire visit. B & J is the best HVAC company I've ever hired and Owner Amy Adolph is always ready to help.

Everyone at B & J was very professional. Our furnace had become very unreliable and it's problems were not corrected the "Rite Way." Dean, from B & J, arrived on time to provide an estimate and was knowledgeable about the furnace and other options we discussed. No high pressure sales. His bid was the least of three. Tony and Adam arrived on time two days later and had a new furnace in and running in about four hours. We've been very pleased with the company. They definitely knew how to treat their customers the right way.

Smooth, from top to bottom. Kudos to Kevin, the service guy, who came out last Friday to restart a dead system; and to Lawrence, the Sales Engineer, who scheduled a new install immediately using notes he kept from our first meeting five years ago; and finally to Tony and Adam, system installers, who spent four hours this morning replacing our old system with a brand new American Standard furnace and air conditioner. Special thanks to all the above for wearing masks and observing social distancing protocols during the peak of Covid-19 in Arizona. Professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable. They turned a terrible experience (losing air conditioning during 108-degree summer days in Arizona) into a wonderful experience at a fair price.

We had been putting off having our HVAC serviced for fear we would be told we needed to replace our unit or that the cost would be astronomical. We finally contacted B & J and were not disappointed AT ALL. Anthony was great! On time (if not early), explained everything so we understood it, got our unit running much more efficiently than it had been before his visit. We did not feel like we were being up-sold or asked to pay more than necessary. We ended up agreeing to a year maintenance agreement and paid less than $250. Star (in the office) was great. We scheduled for a Friday and she called back to ask if Anthony could come earlier in the week. I would absolutely recommend B & J. We are so relieved to know that the unit is running properly and will not need to be replaced any time soon.

B & J has been servicing our home for 8 years now. Today is one of those days that reminds me of why we have never even considered of changing companies. My Dad moved here from NY last October. He tried to turn the A/C on in his house for the first time last night. The fan just ran all night and he woke up to 75 degrees. By 1:00 today it was 90 degrees. He is 70 years old, from NY and definitely is not acclimated to this heat we have. I text Amy and told her and she said she would put him on the schedule for early tomorrow morning. The next thing I know my Dad called me and said a guy called from B & J and wanted to know if he could come and look at it now, it’s Sunday night at 6:30! No other company I know of would do this! It’s all fixed and he is relaxing comfortably! You guys absolutely rock!!! Thank you for being so awesome!!

I have used Shawn and now B & J Refrigeration for all my heating and air conditioning needs since 1992. I now live out-of-State but have two rental properties in Tucson. This was a very good experience with B & J Refrigeration, Inc. technician Kevin Dees. I received a prompt call from him after leaving a message at the answering service. I explained my problem with the furnace and he said he was busy but it would be about two hours. I gave him information on my location and let him know I have an electronic gate. He said he would call 15 mins. before arrival so I could open the gate. It was just under 2 hours when he called and arrived. He did a very thorough job. He said everything was working correctly and within the correct readings. He gave me a very good explanation on how everything worked. He told me my furnace was safe which was very important to me. I would recommend this business. I was very satisfied. And this was all taken care of in an hour.

My 19 year old gas pack failed during the hottest days of the year leaving me with no AC. B&J worked me in on very short notice and did an excellent job of installing my new system and cleaning up. Their price was very reasonable. Their people from the salesperson (Lawrence) to the installers and technicians to the support staff were very knowledgeable, competent, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Very happy I chose B&J.

From the sales perspective, I found Lawrence very willing to listen to details that I had concerns about in selecting a new system. He was attentive, flexible, and in no way pushy in providing me with a couple of different system options to consider. Additionally, he was willing to consider pricing factors that I raised, and provided me with an estimate that was considerably lower than 3 other companies I contacted. Lawrence also went the extra mile in coming out to the house with the installation crew, to sledgehammer concrete platform which housed the old system. It had become significantly elevated at one end over the years was unusable for the new system. Tony and Adam, the installation crew showed up on time and wasted no time getting started. It was clear they had provisioned well with all equipment needed for the project. They worked non-stop throughout the day, finishing by 5PM. When finished, Tony showed me in detail the work they had done in the mechanical closet, Instead of using the old base for the furnace and hot water heater, which was drafty and uneven, they ripped out the old base, and constructed a new level and air-tight base which will contribute to more efficient production. Their attention to detail impressed me. Tony also briefed me on the operation of the system's control panel. All scrap materials and debris to include the demolished concrete platform were removed and the work area cleaned up. I"m very pleased with the value of the system Lawrence recommended and highly impressed with the quality of work performed by Tony and Adam.

First time I had B&J come to my home. I was impressed. I like the people. They are a good company, professional, and most of all know air conditioners. I liked that they show their pictures on their website so I know who I am dealing with. They are upfront and do good work. All points were checked and I was given a read out of the performance in each of my components in the system and the work that was done. I definitely would hire them again.

Major parts were required that weren't available here. We were called with updates several times so that we knew when to expect them to come back again. While I think more care and testing at installation might have averted the problem, the company was responsive in fixing it. Unit cost nearly $8000, so the repair 9 months later was done without cost.

Randy came to my house for a routine maintenance check. I usually do this in the fall and in the spring. He was on time, called ahead to let me know that he was coming, and was careful and considerate. He found a part that was near failure and replaced that part. He first showed me the verification of pending failure on his test equipment and asked if I wanted to replace the part. No strong pressure to do that, but I opted to have it replaced. He did a very good job and worked quickly, answering my questions completely. Will return again for future service. Highly recommend B&J.

Waited 1.5 weeks to find repair parts for a 41 year old electric furnace. When we found that they are no longer available, estimate/quote for a new, replacement furnace was submitted within a day and the work was done three working days later.
