George was amazing. He took his time and really checked every last corner in the home. He answered every question, took me on a walk through of the house pointing out what needs to be fixed and how to fix the minor fixes. I got everything in a neat little binder, everything was very professional. I will use him again if I ever buy another house andI would HIGHLY recommend George to everyone.

George was punctual and thorough with his home inspection.  He arrived much earlier than our set appointment to begin inspecting a home we are looking to purchase.  By the time we arrived, he had the roof inspected and was starting on the inside of the home.  He spent about five hours with us inspecting every nook and cranny of the home.  George was very knowledgeable and didn't mind answering any questions we had along the way.  At the end of the day, he had roughly 80 pictures and an entire binder full of recommendations/inspections for us.  George was kind enough to stay a while longer to go over the pictures with us before emailing the full report later that night.

George did an excellent, and very thorough job on his inspections of our home/potential homes.  On the first house that we were going to buy, he worked for about 4 hours looking into the house, and property, and provided us with a detailed, 64 page report, as well as a 5 page summary of his findings.  The reports were provided to us the same day as the inspection.  His detailed inspection allowed us to make the informed decision that we did not want this house, way too many issues, and I believe it could have been a money pit.  Good news is, however, the next week, we found a much better built house, and he did that inspection for us, also.  This house turned out to only have a 35 page detailed report, and a 2 page summary of minor issues.  We are very happy with his work, and he is very good at explaining the issues to us.
I would recommend him highly, professional, punctual, prompt, and thorough. He also takes the time to explain all the details that you would be concerned about.

I hired Arrow Services to inspect a 50-year old house I was planning to purchase in Tucson.  I was unable to attend the inspection, but a friend (who is something of an old-house guru) accompanied George Fransway, the inspector, and took independent notes, which he shared with me, together with his own opinions.
George's report ran about 40 pages.  It included color photographs along with explanatory text.  The report identified problems with grading and drainage in the front yard, some deterioration in the flat roof, as well as some relatively minor problems with the electrical and plumbing systems.  My friend, the old-house guru, confirmed each of these problems.
After the sale went through, I called in a roofer, a plumber, and electrician, and a landscaper to make independent assessments and submit proposals for repair work.   I was very happy that none of the contractors discovered  problems that had not been addressed by George's inspection report.  There were no surprises!
My one quibble has nothing to do with George Fransway or Arrow Inspection Services, but with home inspection industry practices. Ninety percent of a home inspection report is boilerplate designed to protect the inspector, rather than the home buyer.  You almost feel that the inspection is being done to protect the inspector, rather than the buyer!  Fortunately, my report had a short "Inspection Summary" containing a concise list of all the problems identified by the inspection.

Very thorough and professional job. Took the time and effort to look into things in great detail, probably above and beyond what is expected of a home inspector in some cases. Asked for extra time to look at the house alone in more detail.

THEY DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB ON THE INSPECTION. I THOUGHT IT WAS WONDERFUL THAT THEY TOOK ALL THE TIME THEY NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT. I FEEL BETTER KNOWING THAT THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
