Armour Shield Roofing

They were okay. They were one of the few companies that would do a patio so that was good. They gave me a seven year warranty so I thought that was pretty good too. Their price is a little high.

This was an extremely unpleasant experience & we would NOT recommend this company.  When we first met with the owner, Vincent Marc Cesare, he was full of promises & assurances that this job would go well & the roof would take about 5 days to complete.  Once he had our substantial deposit we were given dates of material delivery & when the crew would show up to start. Repeatedly they never showed up, most often did not call to let us know.  Even after the material was delivered, we were promised that they'd be on site to "dry in" (cover it with the under layment) the roof.  When they finally showed up to do that, it was done in a day. Then we were told they'd be back the next day to get started on the metal for the roof.  They did not show.  When we would call, we would be given a number of excuses & they would promise to be back the next day or week but usually didn't show.  When they would show up, the owner would request we pay him partial draws when he had not met the agreed upon completion milestones per our contract, explaining that he needed to meet payroll that week or some excuse.  This "five day" roof job ended up taking 6 weeks to complete! 
The crew were polite, pleasant & skilled.  When the owner, Mr. Cesare, was on site with them there was tension & yelling.  The owner would berate the crew & he seemed to be disruptive of the flow of work.  When the owner was off site, the crew worked diligently & completed much more work in a quiet, professional, pleasant manner. 
Mr. Cesare accused one of our other subcontractors of stealing a few select roofing tools (ropes etc).  He was very vocal regarding this matter of missing items, when in fact the items were removed by the roofers to take to another job & were back in the owner's own warehouse the whole time.
The good quality roof on our new home was not worth the trouble we'd experienced.  We are confident we could have received the same quality roof with less difficulties from another roofing contractor.

Owner came out and sat down with my wife and I and discussed various roof options. We were set on a metal roof and a clear estimate was given. Work started 3 weeks later and project was completed in 4 weeks. We are please with the energy savings that this beautiful roof has provided. Job well done!

Outstanding experience.  The owner, Mark Cesare, runs a great business.  He is hands-on involved from the beginning to the end and ensures his crews maintain high standards of workmanship and conduct around the jobsite.  He often took the time to explain what was happening and why.  I've never spent more money on one transaction with the exception of buying a house or a car, but I'm very comfortable that I got my money's work and have literally ensured a good roof over my family for the rest of our lives, presuming we choose to stay that long.
