I'm Steve Gopp, Sole proprietor of Arizona Service Plumbing. I have been in business for over 25 years serving the Tucson area. I focus on providing you honest and reliable service at reasonable prices. I am licensed, bonded and insured and have provided my service to many customers including a national retail appliance chain. It went flawlessly. It was a smaller job, so Steve was able to squeeze it in the day after I contacted him. Steve fixed the pipe, I got my hot water back, & I am perfectly happy with the outcome.

Steve Gopp is punctual, arriving at the appointment time. He is a pleasure to work with and finds solutions to problems which other plumbers had not. He offers a fair price for work which is exceptional. We have now found our plumber in Tucson/Oro Valley.

We had a slow leak in a bathroom sink that was getting worse. I found Arizona Service Plumbing on Angie's List and called late on a Friday afternoon expecting to get an answering machine but Steve answered the phone himself. After getting over the shock of actually speaking to a plumber in person - a real rarity today - I told him our problem and that although not urgent, we wanted it fixed as soon as possible. Steve told us he could do the job Tues. morn. and showed up around 10:00 a.m. He repaired the leak by changing the angle valves. We live in a 50 yr. old house and my husband has done most of the plumbing repairs in the past; however, the pipe was too far back in the wall to easily access and we decided we needed a professional. Steve Gopp came to our rescue - we very much appreciate his service. Steve is a great guy - prompt, clean, personable and his price very reasonable He had the job done in about an hour and our sink has not leaked a drop since. We would absolutely call him again if need of a plumber arises.

Steve showed up exactly on the agreed time and also gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way and the approximate time of arrival.
While Steve was replacing the valves, I mentioned that when one of the toilets stopped refilling after flushing, I could hear water pipes banging inside one of the walls. Without my asking, and with my approval, Steve took apart the shower valve cover and hardware trying to get to the water pipes hidden by the wall. When this didn't work, Steve crawled up into the attic to look at the water pipes. It was extremely hot in the attic, there was 16 inches on insulation everywhere, and the path to the area of the pipes was blocked by large air ducts, piping, and insulation. Steve couldn't get to the pipes, but said to call him in a couple of months when the weather gets cooler and he will come back and will do what it takes to get to the pipes and eliminate the banging.
Steve Gopp went above and beyond what he was contracted to do, and he did this without charging extra for it. Steve clearly values workmanship, his reputation, and name. I highly recommend Steve Gopp and Arizona Service Plumbing'

I really liked Steve. He is not the first plumber I have used on Angies list. Like most, I go with the most reviewed vendor but I
wanted another experience. I chose Steve based solely on his outstanding reviews and they were right on the money.
Although my job was not an emergency and did not require immediate attention. Steve was there the very next day. He is a
friendly and likable man who assessed the problem quickly , and fixed it just as fast. The big pay day for me was the bill.
A fair price, for great service.
In the future, If my needs are part of his repertoire of service, I will be calling him......and only him.

We initially met Steve when he came to install a dishwasher that we purchased from Sears. My wife was impressed with his organized approach and his efforts to keep the work area clean. He told us that he had his own plumbing business and we decided to use his services when we finally purchased a new kitchen faucet and a reverse osmosis faucet and consolidated a to-do list. I intended to install new washer hoses myself but found that the faucets were frozen and couldn't be shut off. I had just painted the laundry room, but in relatively tight working quarters Steve was able to cut a hole in the wall, cut out the faucets and replace them with 180 degree shutoff valves, and piece the wallboard, leaving me with just minimal touch-up painting. The to-do list was drawn up in advance but when we found that the toilet with rusted floor bolts needed a new wax ring, we decided to check the others as well. (Good thing, too.) Because of scheduling, the work was done over the course of several days, so additions were no problem; Steve did the work on a priority basis and at our convenience. We supplied the kitchen faucets, washer hoses, shower cartridges, tub spouts, ice maker hose, and the dryer tubing. Another bonus - previous owners ignored the water softener so we had some instances of calcium buildup on faucets; Steve told us that dill pickle juice would take care of that. Now I have an excuse to buy the giant jars of pickles at Costco. Steve was really easy to work with and fairly priced so if we have any other plumbing issues, he'll be the man we call.

Everything went according to Steve's estimate based on what I thought I needed to be fixed which was basically the replacement of faucets and supply valve and supply line connections. He suggested the p-trap drain replacement due to corrosion which I was not aware. It was just a matter of time until these became a serious problem so I had no problem adding these to the job. This was good advice not an up sell.
Steve showed up on time, got right into the job and cleaned up the work areas. I'm sure Steve had to struggle with removing the bathroom faucets since they were original (over 40 years old) with the house, but I never heard a word of complaint. Steve was all business on getting the job done right.
All new parts (11 1/4 turn supply valves, 11 flex supply lines and 3 p-trap assembly parts) and other necessary supplies were provided by Steve. I purchased the 4 faucets that cost $200. So the over all project cost $645.00. Also note that the cost of service included Steve's Angie's List 15% discount coupon.
I'm very satisfied with Steve's work and if you ever need an excellent honest plumber, Steve should be at the top of your list to contact.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the job Steve did. My son and I had tried to "fix a leak" ourselves and Steve did a great job of undoing our damage. Steve also did a great job of explaining what needed to be done and even with an additional repair, the entire job was completed before the estimated time. It's a good thing Steve likes cats because he had an audience every step of the way.

Steve rearranged his schedule so he could do the job the same day I called. Had to buy parts that were around $7.00, I believe. Did the job quickly. Total price was excellent. To top it off, Steve is a nice guy. Thanks Steve.
