Arizona Cordwood

I called and ordered a quarter cord of cedar. Arizona cordwood delivered the cedar on the day I requested, promptly. They also split 90 percent of it. Always great wood that burns nicely.

I like that they are willing to discuss the different prices and the differences in wood. There are no secrets there. They deliver the wood and stack the wood where you want it stacked. They are very friendly. They also have great summer deals. I think that their prices are fair, I keep going back.

When it was delivered, they stacked it for us - no extra charge! Wow! We learned that they also have bags of kindling and short pieces for the chimenea. There are other varieties, too, including mesquite, pine, cherry, and alligator juniper, as well as wood racks to keep it off the ground.

We had an overall excellent experience with Arizona Cordwood. The other wood providers had piles of dumped wood that looked more varied in size and shape (making us wonder how you could pile it up neatly), whereas Arizona Cordwood had neatly uniform piles of much better looking wood stacked up in their yard. The service personnel were friendly and attentive, and they had no problem with accommodating our wish for 1/2 pecan and 1/2 mesquite (there was no mention of combining wood types on their price list). The wood was delivered much faster than we expected (within two hours), and the cheerful employee stacked our wood very nicely (they will pile it for you as long as you are within ten feet of where their truck can unload the wood). We will definitely use them again. The only downside was the high price for firewood, but that would be the case with the other providers, too.
