Apex was recommended to me through Angi last year and it was the worst experience with any home improvement project that I have ever had. They have been around for over 30 years, their presentation was good, the sales staff pleasant, and no issues with the ROC. However, the workers they sent were inexperienced and didn?t even have the basic skills. This entire process was a nightmare: shoddy caulking, a leaky door frame, noxious odors, a dangerously slick shower pan, and they made a huge mess. The noxious smell from the bonding agent they used forced me out of my home and after ten weeks of trying to get Apex to fix the issues I ended up having to rip out the shower and start over with an experienced contractor. I?m out $12k with no recourse. What an unmitigated disaster; I bitterly regret that Angi gave Apex my contact details.
