Excellent. Extremely neat. The connection between the dryer and the duct work was crushed. it was similar to a tin can that you had stepped on. He replaced it at no extra charge. I had never paid attention to this part. He was on time. We have cats, and he asked if we wanted to cage them so they would not go out the door since he had to go in and out of the house several times. We will use them again for others services such as cleaning rugs.

They guy did a great job. He did the air ducts and the dryer vent. And he was fast, it was a fair price and I would recommend them.

I had the air ducts cleaned by Phil with American Home Services at a rental property and the tenants and I couldn't be happier with the results.
This was a bit of an emergency because the tenants previously thought that there was mold in the house. There was none, but  they wanted to move regardless. This was ok with me, but in the meantime I wanted them to feel good in the house and so I decided to have the air ducts cleaned. 
I explained this to Phil and he came out the same day.  Although I didn't see the job myself, it was much more important that the tenants were content. They called to tell me that they thought he provided a thorough and well done job and that they were very happy with the results and that they did not want to move.  I will definitely use this company again.

They did a good job installing my new air conditioner and furnace.  They were a little late to the job.  I felt like thay did a good installation and they will be coming back to serive it as needed.  I would recommend them in the future.  We had one minor problem with the surge protector where I had to spend some extra money.

The carpet cleaning was not good but the air duct cleaning was okay. They did not sweep my carpet prior to cleaning and the carpet stayed wet for a long time after they had finished. I will give them good marks for the air duct and dryer vent cleaning but not good marks for the carpet cleaning.

The carpet cleaning was awful.  It was terrible.  When they got through with the carpet it was wet.  They didn't vacuum areas well prior to cleaning the carpets and the carpets were left with stains on them.  I didn't see that until after they had gone.  Their carpet cleaning wasn't even part of Angie's List advertisement.  I had called another provider from Angie's List and they said that they don't do it and they referred me to American Home Services.  They did a terrible job on the carpets.  They also did the air duct cleaning so I spent $400 in total for both the jobs.  The quality wasn't good.  Their price was reasonable, but I didn't get good service.  They didn't do a good job.  Their responsiveness was good.  If one doesn't do a good job, they aren't very professional.  I would not use them again.            

Arrived on time.  Respectful of property, and people in  the  home.  Got down to business without delay .  Did not try to up the price quoted and did a thorough job.  Let things clean, in place and smelling good.

I was given a base price of $149 over the phone based on the size of the system. The gentleman that did the work arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. He was very friendly and got right to work cleaning out the ducts. Due to the unique configuration of the ductwork (it's a very old adobe house) he felt there was an area of the ductwork that he could not reach. He estimated about 3 feet that was inaccessible without taking off the roof! He said that it could be cleaned out by the A/C people when they had access to it when the old unit came off the roof (which was later verified by the A/C installers.) Because of this, he knocked $50 off the original price of $149. He vacuumed up inside the house where dust and soot had fallen. The one thing stood out to me was upon his arrival, he asked if there were any cats or dogs or other animals that might be "freaked out" by the noise. I pointed out our indoor/outdoor cat lying on the bed, and let him know that if she did get scared, it was okay if she ran outside the open door, as she never leaves the yard. I never thought about the cat when he arrived, so that was a nice touch for him to consider this as a possibility.

American Home Services quoted a very competitive rate for cleaning the carpet in 3 bedrooms. We agreed on a service date and time. American arrived on time on the agreed date. The work was done professionally. The cost of the work was as quoted.
