Very well. So good in fact that when we had an unrelated plumbing problem later, we called them.

Very well. Steve not only replaced the pump, he also re-plumbed it. American Five Star is the best plumbing service we have ever used - they arrive on time, do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it! Steve also returns all calls promptly. We highly recommend American Five Star Plumbing!!

Steve was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, honest, and fast. His price was also very reasonable.  We are so glad to have found him and will definitely use him again.

Steve Linville handled a plumbing repair for an issue that was caught during a home inspection for the home we were purchasing in 4/2010.  He needed to switch condensation drain and drip-pan drain - mixed up by KB (builder).  
I called Steve because we had called his company when he was then known as G&R Plumbing.  His partner retired - hence, new company name American Five Star Plumbing.  
I first met Steve when we called G&R Plumbing because of a leak at our main water pipe for the house we were selling on the NW side of town January 2010.  I received a call at work from my neighbor that water was pouring out of the ground near the ground water meter box .  Steve worked with his partner, and fixed the leak pronto.  Which was great for us since we had just placed the house on the market.
We were very happy with the service, cost, etc.  I don't recall the costs, but I remember it was very reasonable for the work required to repair the break in the pipe.  Because of this first great experience, we called the company again in April 2010, and discovered the new company name due to the reason noted above.
I have used American Five Star Plumbing since we have been in the newer house in 2015 when we had a plumbing leak bathroom vanity.  Again - same great service, and reasonable costs.  We will continue to use Steve for our plumbing needs.

It went great!  Steve was very professional.  He was the only one willing to come out to talk about what I wanted without charging me ahead of time (I contacted several companies that said they had to charge me to come out to see what I wanted and others who said they would charge $1500 without even looking at what I wanted).  He was VERY punctual and professional.  He gave me a fair quote and we were able to schedule within a reasonable amount of time.  
On the day of, again he was very punctual and professional.  The job was done exactly as I wanted and we talked about making some modifications by moving the faucet to a different location in the future.  He cleaned up after he was done, left everything looking great and was fair in his price.  He even came in lower than the actual estimate. 
Overall, I was very impressed, the job was done well and I will be using him again in the future.  This was a great referral from Angie's List!

Steve visited our home two or three times before providing the service.  He is a good listener and accurately assessed the situation and our particular concerns, time-frame, etc.  On the first visit he provided a verbal "ball park" quote which was quickly followed up with a written quote.  Even though we made some minor additions to the work that we wanted to have done, he still provided the service at the original quoted price.  I could go on and on but suffice it to say that he provided excellent, quality workmanship, on-time and in a very professional manner.  He was flexible and accommodating at a price that was very reasonable.  We received 4 quotes prior to selecting American Five Star, so we know that the job was performed to the same standards as those better known companies that charge twice as much.  I was also pleased that this company encouraged me to inspect the various components, joints, materials, etc. as the job progressed.  It's nice to know what's now buried under my driveway.
We have used four or five plumbers over the past seven years.  American Five Star was not only the best, but certainly the most professional, accommodating and easy to work with.  It was also nice to work with a company that refused to say anything bad about other plumbers who might be bidding, nor about whoever originally installed the water line, nor about Tucson tradesmen in general. Steve stuck to the business of doing the job that we needed done and I really appreciate that.

Steve did a fine job. This was the third time I've used him. He is conscientious and genuinely interested in being cost-effective and practical. I'd recommend him for any job, small or large. This installation actually dramatically reduced the pipe banging sound to a tolerable level. We are going to continue to research this.

Steve is a solo operator, and I strongly prefer this kind of service, because the person who does your estimate is the person who does your work, and who is the person you talk to throughout the process. He is fully trained, licensed and bonded. Steve was flexible in times and dates, and did all the work quickly and professionally.  He is readily reachable by phone for questions.  There were no issues or concerns with the work done. He pointed out a few items of concern for the future, but didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need.
