I needed a large mesquite tree trimmed. A previous service did not show up. Ralph provided same day service and was at my house within an hour on short notice. Very fast, clean and friendly. Also has a bucket truck for tall trees which worked great.

Ralph gave me a quote after I texted a photo of my tree. He wanted to do the job the next morning but I wanted other quotes before hiring him. I was a little skeptical of hiring him because he was a bit "pushy". Now I'll just say he is a go-getter. I hired him and he did a quick and efficient job of taking down the tree and leaving the area clean and free of debris. I would not hesitate to hire him again. His price was well under that given by another company and was comparable to that provided by a thirs company.

Ralph and Javier did an immaculate job of weeding my yard and hauling away bricks, rocks, tables, and boards. I can't believe how good my yard looks now. They are both very friendly and professional. Ralph gave me a quote and I asked if they could start right away and they did. They go the extra step to make sure you are completely happy with the job. Even though it wasn't necessary, he used a leaf blower to pick up other little things scattered around my yard. I contacted Ralph yesterday evening for the first time. He and his employee came out and did the estimate this morning. We worked out a price that was agreeable to both of us and they started work immediately. I am so happy with his work. The area looks perfect. They put in time for the extras like straightening out my bricks that the yucca had messed up in the past years. They cleaned up the leaves. It looks great.

From the estimate phase through carrying out the job, Ralph and his team member gave me the impression that they were very motivated to deliver prompt, careful, and thorough service---and they did! I especially liked Ralph's follow-through in calling me back, as well as later coming over at the times he indicated he would. I initially considered cutting the tree down, but Ralph and the other team member did a wonderful job of shaping it to the satisfaction of both myself and my neighbor. They even cleaned up leaves and debris from this messy, but great shade tree that had accumulated in my neighbor's yard over the past few months. Ralph also provided info to my neighbor on trees in his yard and hauled away a small pile of branches for him at no charge. The guys trimmed three bushes and further cut back two stumps in my yard that were re-sprouting. They said this was quick work and did not charge me for it. Ralph advised me on how to eliminate new sprouts with a non-toxic method. They cleaned up everything, including raked back gravel where they had pulled in their truck. I was very pleased with this service and plan to have them return to do some additional work in my yard in the near future. I highly recommend them for their prompt service, careful work, reasonable fees, and professionalism.

This is the second time we've had Ralph do work for us. Ralph was on time and professional. He did what we asked for and more. Ralph is very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for what he does. The yard looks amazing!

We recently moved to Tucson and the acacia tree in our front yard had clearly not been maintained for years and was heavily infested with mistletoe.  I called Ralph for an appointment.  He came by the house a few days later, gave us a good estimate, and did the work that morning.  He clearly understood the issues very well and did a professional, healthy and aesthetically pleasing pruning our acacia tree.

Ralph responded right away, he was very clear about what he was going to do.  He and his employee were very professional, very fast workers and extremely neat.  Overall I'm very pleased with the quality and speed of their work.

When I moved into my house in 2012, I had three Texas Ranger bushes that had just been planted and were set in between my driveway and the neighbors.  In 2013, there was a hard freeze, and two died, and I removed them.  However, there was one that just would not die, and grew to be a monstrosity.  Unfortunately, a desert broom began growing up through the middle, and became unmanageable.  I would trim the bush and the broom, but it would grow back with a vengeance, and before I knew it, it needed trimming again.  Well, I finally had had enough of it, and needed to remove it.  Upon further inspection, I determined that I couldn't do it in a timely manner, so I began looking for someone to do it - someone that had both the equipment and knowledge on how to do it.  On Memorial Day, I was sitting in my living room looking for a company to do it, when I came across Affordable Yard and Tree Service, so I thought I'd call.  When I called, I spoke with Ralph, who was out on a job, who asked me to call back and leave all the details in a voice mail, and that he would get back in touch with me.  That evening, he called, and advised that he could be at the house first thing Tuesday morning to take a look.  Well, at 7:15am, Ralph called and said he was on his way.  He showed up at 7:30-7:35, and looked at the bush, told me what he would do, and then asked if I would like the bushes in front of the house trimmed up too.  I said yes, he gave me a quote that I thought was fair, and he and his associate went right to work.  Well, I think 40 mins or so passed, and he was done.  He made sure the area where the bush was pulled from was cleaned up, and he cleaned up the area around the bushes in front of the house.  All in all, I could not have been more pleased with how things looked, I would absolutely recommend Ralph and his team again!

They arrived right on time. He has been very courteous and responsive to any requests. They have a great attitude, are enthusiastic and hard workers.

Ralph responded to my phone message promptly and arranged a time to estimate the job at my house.  When he arrived at the time agreed,  we walked the property (front and back of house). Some of work in the front needed immediate attention, so I didn't get other estimates.  Maybe I should have, since his price seemed high to me.  Since there seemed to be more to be done than I anticipated, we agreed on a price for the front of the property.  He and his associate began immediately and finished before noon.  They did a very good job of trimming many plants, removing two huge Century plant which had grown giant spires and were falling over.  They also hauled many Palm fronds which had fallen from Palms in the back and accumulated on the ground.  I may get estimates from others before having my work completed, but I will use Ralph again if he is priced competitively.

Ralph came out and told me exactly what my tree needed, and he delivered! I was very pleased with the result and also very impressed with his knowledge of this type of work. He's actually more of an artist than a tree trimmer. H***, if I wasn't bald, I'd have him give me a d*** haircut...

Provider was immediately available by phone on Wed just before 5:00 p.m, arrived on time at 8:15 a.m. the next day, Thurs, provided very reasonable estimate, began immediately and had the job done within 2 hours. The right company, the right tools and equipment, the right number of workers, at the right price and with the right attitude! Very, very pleased with the completed job!!
