I call the guy to say and quot;you know I am really unhappy with the job and that
my neighbors complained about the crap he blew into the street and that
rocks all over the driveway and crap in my pool and a big oil leak in
the gutter in front
of my house....he told me I am hard to please. I advised him that I will probably send a letter to the BBB he gots p***** and said and quot;lady you better be careful what you doand quot; I asked him if that was a threat he
said and quot;take it how you wantand quot; and hung up..

They were on time, had many workers present, supervised the job, and completed the work we discussed. We thought their pricing was reasonable and they were polite to work with at our home. We will definitely call them for other tree work and hauling. They are doing monthly maintenance work on our yard. A very positive experience and we trust them on our property.

Workers came on time, were very nice, we liked them very much. They were polite, personable and agreeable to work even tho it had rained and was to rain even more on them. They worked fast, maybe too fast! It only took 3 hours which we didn't feel was $1200.00 worth of work. My husband inspected before they left and said it was fine, but later decided, the more we looked at the yard the more we felt it wasn't that good of a job. Too much of trimmings left in areas not checked. As much as we like them, I'm very sorry their work was not quite up to what we wanted.

Found them on Angie's List . Called and left a message and they attempted 3 times to make contact with us, talked with Rich on 6.20.12 wanted them to come out take a look at what needed to be done and an estimate...Rich said they'd make it out the following day between 6am-7am, they called at 6am and arrived shortly after that. Settled on a price and they started work immediately.. WOW not many companies do that i expected at least a week or more before they'd get to the job . They got going and didn't stop, they started around 6:45am and finished up around 11:30am this crew was well coordinated and worked extremely well together. The 1 extremely large Sumac had a base of shoots coming up from the roots that surrounded the base of the tree a thick tangly mess at least 3-4 feet tall all this had grown up through BIG RIVER ROCK that they pulled out and piled in one area (not just scattered about).They ground the stump and root shoots all down below ground (one guy had to cut the root shoots down one by one so they could grind the stump down.) The medium sized Sumac was a much easier take down, ground that stump down as well. Then the Olive tree stump it was a 30 year old tree....that took a while, it was a big healthy tree at one time. They also took care of 6 very large Ole Anders trimmed them down to fence level and hauled all the tree limbs,parts and Ole Anders limbs and parts off to the dump.Over all these guys really put allot into the task and the job finished was GREAT ! And they did all this in a 100+ degrees....it was hot that day....the heat didn't slow'em down at all. They showed up at said time !Gave us a set price we agreed to.Got the job done in hours not days !They did a GREAT JOB !All of the crew was very nice and polite !

They showed up at the time promised, did the work carefully and professionally. Cleaned up after themselves. Got the work all done within about 3 hours. All for the price originally quoted. No surprises. Very satisfied.

I contacted Mr. Jolley for an estimate to trim dead branches from a 20 ft pepper tree and three other smaller trees on the property. His estimate was very reasonable. Mr. Jolley accommodated my schedule and would perform work within a week of estimation. I appreciated Mr. Jolley contacting me the day before work was completed to confirm appointment. Mr. Jolley and his crew showed up on time and quickly went to work with all the necessary tools to complete job. They obviously knew what they were doing and were able to complete work within 2 hours. He cleaned up all debris and hauled it away. He and his crew were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work.

The crew was diligent and hardworking. Tree was professional trimmed.

I got their name from Angie's List. I really like supporting small businesses and they were so sweet. They go out and do everything then call and ask what I think and if they missed anything. I've only had them out once. The price was very affordable, I was happy with the price. The tree they pruned was a large lemon tree. I have a big olive tree that had some dead branches they removed. I had another small tree that they cut down. They did everything I asked them to do, they cleaned up afterwards, they were very polite and personable people. They were just good people. I thought their prices were very very fair and reasonable, if I needed anything I would definitely call them back. I thought they were very professional.

I thought their pricing was expensive. My only complaint is that they broke a sprinkler valve and didn't report it to us.

I chose this company because it was was well rated on Angie's List. The work was done very well and everything that we agreed on was completely done.
The service was well worth the cost for all of work that they did and the challenges they had to overcome with the rocks embedded in the root/stump of the palm inthe front and the size of the tree trunk pieces in the back yard.
They were very nice to work with and I would hire them again if I have any future yard or tree work.

Richard arrived on time and it didn't take him long to arrive at an estimate. It was a fair price and he was able to do the work immediately. Because of my work schedule, I was happy not to have to schedule another day and time for him to come back out. I was pleased with the work and would hire him again.

Excellent, professional, prompt and knowledgeable business. I have hired them to pick up, deliver and plant a large tree tomorrow, to replace the dead one they removed today.

Richard and his crew came out to remove a dead eucalyptus tree that was too close to the house. The thing was huge. In less than 2 hours they had it down, cut up and loaded onto the trailer to haul off. The crew was good natured and family friendly. Safety was important and they took good precautions. I would definitely call them again for yard and tree service.

Richard and his co-worker came over to give us an estimate on the work that we need to have done. They were prompt and courteous and actually began the work that afternoon. By arrangement, they finished the work a couple of days later and they did an excellent job. We will be using Richard again in the future.

His team removed the stumps and cleaned up the yard. We were pleased with his professionalism and work ethic, and would definitely recommend him

They had a negative rating by a customer and I decided to go ahead and get bid from them. Then the bids ranged from $500 down who didn't want to come here to their bid which was a $100. They did an excellent job. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time which was not true with most of companies. They wouldn't grind the stumps down and I understood that as it was worth to me to have a lower price and just have them cut up and removed. They did a beautiful job of cleaning up after themselves. They rerate the gravel in my yard. They just really did an excellent job and no one could ever know that the trees were removed. I was very pleased with them.

Richard was prompt and a pleasure to work with. Freddie was with him and did a great job----exactly to our specifications. We will definitely use Richard again.

Richard called to see if I was available a day earlier than scheduled and I was so we had him come right over. He was willing to come all the way to Vail and completed all work within three hours. He also agreed to call me every three months as I asked to see if I need service. He provided me with a refrigerator magnet so I would have his information available. I look forward to having someone I can depend on to help me maintain my yard.

Excellent. They went out of their way to come and give me an estimate on short notice because I have a very short window to get this work done. Showed up promptly, took everything they raked up away. Yard looks spectacular.

Reviewed Angie's List for highly rated tree services. Sent an e-mail to Affordable Southwest Yard and Tree Service inquiring about getting an estimate. The owner, Richard, called me within an hour. We set an appointment for 1pm the following day. Richard called about 11am to ask if it'd be okay to come early as they were ahead of schedule. I said okay. Richard and his crew arrived about 15-20 minutes later. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and said they could do the job today if I'd like. That was perfect and I gave the go ahead to get started. The crew went right to work and the job was done within an hour. I was satisfied with their performance and would use them again.
