ADT Security Services

It went great until service failed. Now can't get anyone to service for 4 weeks. I would not do business with ADT in Tucson!!!!!!!!



They said they could schedule emergency service which would take 10 days. Lots of security choices out there,

I just call a 1-800 number if I have any issues. I've used them for 15 years. They're reliable, and they do their job, if something goes wrong they call me. So far it's been explainable, no break ins or anything.

They have not been responsive. We are very displeased with the service. We are continued to be displeased with the product that we are going to contract for several years, it was stuck. I would never use them again. I have used ADT other properties and I have never ever had a problem here in Tucson every other minute there has been a problem with their system.

They weren't there in the time they stated. They came in an unmarked car after hours without a shirt with the ADT logo.  We had to ask him to leave.  They didn't do the installation. The technician that took the equipment out of the house was professional.

I had the wiring for an old security system when I moved into this house 3 years ago, but wasn't sure it would work.  I got a quote from ADT and set up an appointment for install with the caveat that I could cancel if I decided to go with another company.  In the meantime I had another local security company which is big in the area come out.  They just couldn't compare with ADT who was running promotions with several free items and $99 install (but you get a $100 Visa card if you get it installed).  The price was 1/2 of what the other people quoted and I got more stuff. The monthly charge was comparable, as well.  I don't know if the panel would have been fancier with the other system, but I am happy with the one I got.  You do talk to the sales department when you first call and they set you up for install, but you can cancel with no penalty.  I had several technical questions before the install and they hooked my up with the install people right away for tech support.  The installer was professional and had been in the business a long time.  He was thorough and answered all my questions before he left.

Overall, I was very pleased the professionalism and customer service.

Overall the system performs OK. I have only had a couple of communication errors that I relate to my wireless network and living in an area of town that has some cellular quirks.

I received about 3 calls from ADT the day before my scheduled appt.  The ADT technician arrived right on time.  He spent quite a bit of time asking my concerns and needs, walking through the house and finally drawing up an extensive security plan for me to choose from.  It isn't cheap for the initial purchase the monthly monitoring fee is very reasonable. I decided not to do a few things but overall felt the money was worth the investment for peace of mind.  You also have a period of time for adjustment before the system goes live.  I an very happy with my choice of security companies.

They seem very business-like and do what they have to do and seem to do it efficiently.

They are an excellent company. They have good product and good price. I spend $35 a month for the monitoring. I would grade them A’s across-the-board.

I really like the system and am happy with it. The installation of the system was good. If I make a mistake or hit the wrong button, they call me right away. Anytime I have called them, their staff has been helpful. I have had them for about four years.
