Their prices maybe a little higher for them being a smaller store but they are comparable. I like their service and their availability; someone will be there to ask what we are looking for as soon as we walk in the door.

There are many employees to assist me at Ace Hardware. They approach me upon entering the store. The employees are not always knowledgeable, but I like shopping there because I do not have to wait in long lines to check out.

Bottom line - if you are an amateur do-it-yourselfer like me and really need advice on how to do certain projects and what you will need, ACE Hardware is so much more helpful than the 2 Big Box home improvement stores in town. At ACE I always know that I can find someone to answer specific questions instead of wandering around aimlessly looking for someone at the other stores. The prices seem very competetive and there have been numerous times that I have have found necessary items at ACE that I have not been able to find elsewhere. As we just bought an older home the 22nd Street location has been a great help in assisting me with all my little and big projects. It's obvious that the employees at this location, and the others, enjoy what they do. Even if the price might be slightly higher at times, I would much rather give my business to ACE whenever possible.
