We have used a lot of plumbers for various issues in the past 5 years, but Abacus Plumbing, and especially our plumber Kenny B., was exceptionally attentive to making sure that everything was installed correctly and to our satisfaction.  We were kept well informed throughout the installation of our water heater and we also had a full inspection where other valid issues were identified. I liked that we agreed to prices before work began and that they listened to our concerns. We will continue to use Abacus and we recommend them highly.

The provider installed a new faucet in the kitchen, which was challenging due to the deep sink that was installed by the former owner of my home. I also expressed concern about a leaky faucet in my master bathroom. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I didn't realize that I just had to screw the faucet handle tighter; I thought it would be more complicated. He didn't make me feel foolish.

The service was 100 percent better than service we received from another company.  Initially we called Abacus for emergency service and they came out and performed the service.  Antoine the service technician made a big impression with his knowledge and professional attitude.  He took care of the problem.  He went out of his way to make certain we understood everything and the price was reasonable.  They support the military and provide military discount.
Thank you and we definitely will recommend Abacus.  We will use for all of our needs.

Jason, our technician, was absolutely superb.  He arrived Monday morning at 8 am after we had had a plumbing emergency on Sunday, but chose to not pay the significantly higher after hour fee for Sunday evening service.  He was extremely knowledgeable and very articulate.  He explained all the options available to us, their relative cost and advantage/disadvantage.  He was extremely clean and efficient in carrying out the work that needed to be done.  He rebuilt our Delta kitchen faucet with the parts that were available.  But when we were unable to get from Delta one key part, we purchased a new kitchen faucet, which he replaced as part of the warranty on the work he had done on the old faucet.   We felt that he treated us very fairly and were delighted with his work.   We hope that when we have plumbing problems in the future, we will be so fortunate to have him back to our home to handle them.

Their total work was about half a day. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They had everything that needed right in. They didn't have to leave and go to get anything. They had all the tools and equipments that they needed. They were very friendly as well. If I had any questions of what was going on they answered it and they showed me what the problem was before they did anything. They also worked with the insurance company so everything was on them including the final bill. In fact I had two other companies who came to look at the problem and couldn't fix it but they were recommending Abacus. They knew what I needed and this company knew it all.

The entire job went very well and smoothly. The plumber was very competent and professional, and kept working at an efficient and steady pace even while chatting (which is especially important because they charge by the time the job takes). At every stage he asked us what kind of materials we wanted (we opted for copper pipe instead of plastic, and a concrete meter box instead of plastic), so we could decide on more budget versus more quality materials. We have used this company a number of times before and have always been pleased with the high level of work, plus we like the hourly rate versus a set price, which makes us feel like they are taking the time needed to do the job right and not cutting ends to save themselves time.
