Because the original wall was still under warranty, and some issues were found, the original installer repaired those issues and did some of the work quoted by A&M - finishing solids and # 10, above. I was never compensated for this, but that was not my biggest issue.
The primary issue was that the new pilaster supporting a new solid steel 5' gate separated at its base and is no longer anchored securely to the ground. Prior to contracting with them, they assured me that a single block pilaster would adequately support the gate (despite other contractors suggesting a double-block pilaster). Unfortunately, when it did not hold up to normal use and the environment (wind), they refused to repair it after it failed. They claimed it was an "act of God," and I should talk to my insurance company. They would be willing to come in and repair it for $768.00.
None of my neighbors had any issues with damage due to wind, even with similar fencing and masonry. To make it worse, they built only two of the three quoted A block Columns (pilasters). They could have given me a double-block, costing them nothing more than originally quoted.
So, not only was it a poor design (should have been a double-block), but I believe their installation was poor, as they had to cut away some of the base block to fit it up against the house foundation. While these two things provided for weakness, I also believe that they did not properly anchor (epoxy) the base block to the existing footer, so the rebar just came loose, allowing the wall to tip over to the side. It would have fallen over completely if the opposite pilaster and gate hadn't held it up (they didn't construct that one).
Possibly related to this, I had originally asked for the top half of the gate to be perforated metal, which they refused to quote. Might have helped reduce the effect of wind loading if they had (back to design).
Bottom Line: Poor Design, Bad Installation, didn't provide all they quoted, and they Won't Back their Work - even within a year of completion. Still saving up to have someone else come and fix it. I delayed writing this, but I don't really want anyone else to go through a similar experience. I just cannot recommend them.

The workers did a great job. They showed up when they said they would, didn't make any unnecessary mess, even did a couple of repairs to the existing wall that wasn't in the contract but was needed to make a couple of sections of wall more stable. The finished wall so impressed a neighbor who's in the construction industry he decided to use them for a back yard wall expansion he was planning.

I hired Anozira for a second time to stucco and paint my back yard cinder block wall. They did a great job. Very high quality workmanship. Ken's stucco crew actually performed more work than what was required in the work order; I had an area that had been previously stuccoed, which they stuccoed over so that the entire wall would have a uniform look. I will definitely be hiring Ken again to build additional block walls in my back yard.

I met on many occasions with Ken Lee, the company owner and he made a number of very helpfull suggestions (e.g., why not enclose the pool equipment area within the slump-block wall/cabana construction?). His suggestions contributed to a much better end product than my design alone would have produced. The project started in the autumn of 2009 and Anozira had to integrate construction of the wall/cabana footers and the (later) raising of the walls into the pool construction plan. Ken coordinated very well with the pool project forman in this process. Both of them had to react to the problem that the grade of the original pool design was too low to accomodate excessive water running off the driveway in the event of a heavy storm. The result was that the pool grade was raised 4 inches and, consequently, the grade on the wall and cabana had also to be raised, resulting in a materials requirement (fill, block, floor concrete) increase. Ken Lee worked with me on that in a very fair and professional way. I admire the way he kept his cool in spite of all the changes that came thick and fast over the two months of the project. The additional work (constructing a gate on the pool equipment area and making a section of the perimeter fence removable went smoothly and was priced very reasonably. If you need wall and fence work done, call Anozira. I recommend them highly.

Called Ken for an estimate on a small custom brickwork project in my back yard. He was the only licensed contractor willing to take on a job as small as mine. He printed an estimate on the spot. His crew showed up a couple of weeks later. There was a miscommunication between Ken and his crew, and they didn't do the job quite right. I emailed details of what was wrong to Ken, and he immediately emailed me back to say it would get taken care of. Two days later, his crew showed up again and made it absolutely perfect. The workmanship is spot on. Very high quality - couldn't ask for better. The project was completed about 2 weeks earlier than his original estimate. I will definitely be using them again for projects in the future. I would recommend. Ken operates a good outfit.

Ken Lee was an excellent communicator, working with my neighbors and me. The wall did not have easy access, but Anozira's crew wheelbarreled in concrete. Ken had both an excellent sense of the mechanics and the aesthetics of building a wall.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN PUTTING UP OUR FENCE. IT LOOKS WONDERFUL AND ITS SUCH A JOY FOR THE KIDS TO BE ABLE TO BE OUTSIDE IN THE YARD. ITS SUCH A PEACE OF MIND TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE SAFE.

THEY DID A PERFECT JOB, BUT AFTER THE HEAT AND RAIN TOOK A TOLL ON IT, THE TOP BRICKS WERE STARTING TO COME LOOSE. OTHER THAN THAT, THEY DID A GREAT JOB, AND I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK TO THEM IF I EVER NEED ANYTHING ELSE DONE.
