The last couple of storms hit the roof hard and I was tired of doing spot repairs myself. Filed a claim with my insurance and went through Thumbtack to locate some roofing companies to provide estimate on replacing the roof. Jorge was one of the first to come out. He looked things over and gave me an affordable solid estimate. Also told me that he could get guys working on it within a week. I thanked him and let him know I had other companies bidding. I had four more companies come over, look things over and bid. We made the decsion to go with A Mountain Roofing Thursday night. By Friday morning Jorge was confirming that he could have the roof started by Wednesday of the following week (5 days away) but before I sent him the signed contact my wife had a list of like seven questions/concerns she wanted answered. Jorge answered them promptly and with the answers she was agreeable to. Signed contract was sent over. Two and a half days. That is all it took. Stripped down, new synthetic underlay, new 30 year name brand shingles and all debris cleaned up and hauled away. I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

hired A Mountain Roofing to detect and fix the cause of a leak on the top roof of my small 2 story town home. The estimate seemed a bit high but he was highly recommended. It took 5 guys to "Recoat 2 5x5 areas with white elastomeric Apoc 247" the problem-they re coated the wrong roof and still charged me $980. They re coated two the back of first story roof where there wasn't even a leak and did nothing to fix the initial issue-they didn't even go up to the second story. They didn't even bother with a power wash before applying the coating. They also used my carport as their own personal trash spot and left their water bottles just lying around. Jorge came out the next day and he "fixed it" but didn't even bother coating the area with the leak. I would not hire or recommended this company for any future work. I definitely learned my lesson-ALWAYS read the reviews. A Mountain Roofing is unreliable, incompetent and a scam of a "business".
Response from A Mountain Roofing
"Regarding [Member Name Removed] complaint, A Mountain completed all work that was proposed on the signed proposal by home owner. The five areas coated were patches and did not require a power wash prior to being coated. A Mountain’s crew did all necessary prep work for the five patches that were sealed with white elastomeric. Pipes and penetrations were also sealed with apoc247. All levels and areas that needed attention were listed on the proposal and was signed by the homeowner. After all work was completed Jorge received a call from the home owner informing him of a leak. At this time Jorge informed home owner in order to pass inspections to sell the home the whole roof needed to be maintained and coated. Jorge returned within 24 hours to patch the leak. This was not on the proposal but Jorge stands behind his work and will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. This particular home has three separate roofs ( garage roof, two story main house roof and a back roof). A Mountain did not coat the wrong roof. All work to be done was stated on the proposal and was agreed by homeowner. All work that was completed was done up to code. Every roofing company follows different steps and has their own procedures. Typically when the entire roof is going to be maintained and coated the roof will be power washed. For patches and repairs power washing the roof is not necessary."

They were punctual, courteous and professional. Pricing was reasonable. The crew was large enough to get the job done quickly. They came back to rectify a problem and they were very nice. The clean up could have been a little better but overall I was satisfied and I would recommend this company.

Jorge and his crew were fantastic and professional. Feel silly giving these guys all "A's"; looks like I didn't put a lotta thought into it. I did. These guys were great!
