At 8 a.m. the workers arrived (on time) to start the treatment of my property.

They dug a trench around most of my house for the treatment.  A few areas were skipped because I had some long narrow bricks (one layer) around an 8 foot area against the house.  If they had told me I would have moved the bricks.  It would have taken me about 3 minutes to do that. 

They finished the treatment by spraying the poison etc. into the trench and refilling it.  They let me know when it was done.

Overall I am happy with the service.  I just wish the inspector or the workers would have let me know to move the bricks (they were holding down an outdoor carpet so the wind wouldn't blow it away.

went as planned. no signs of termites at time of this posting. Service personnel were courteous and communicative.

It went well. They were prompt, professional, tidy, and got the job done quickly. The shed in the backyard was not included and they were going to give me a quote, but I forgot to bring it up when they came out to do the treatment.

Rhonda and Lia were both very professional and very easy to work with, coordinating their time here and scheduling us ahead of a planned exterior house painting job.  Our concerns regarding chemicals in areas where we have animals were noted and addressed with great attention to detail.  We would definitely have work done by this company again.

I called 1st Choice early in the morning about the swarm of bees that had made a home in the joists of my patio ceiling.   Lia from 1st Choice showed up to evaluate the problem just when she said she would a couple of hours later.    She quoted a price and we agreed that the next morning would be a good time to do the work.  She showed up on time and an hour later the bees were eradicated.  She charged the agreed upon price.  She was very professional and suggested that I get the patio ceiling to roof edges caulked so that next year the bees would have a place to swarm to.
It was good work done by professionals at a reasonable price.  I will use them again.

I used them in December of last year. They did termite treatment. The quality of their work was excellent. They were punctual and I will use them again in the future.

It was usually a good service. The last few times that I used this service I thought it was rather quick and they didn't spend a lot of time. They were professional. I was upset the last time they came because they were so quick and didn't spend a lot of time.

I just bought a house and there was evidence of termites. 1st Choice was by far the most reasonable quote for termite control. They guarantee their work for one year. They came on time, worked around my to labradors, we professional and friendly. I had them spray for general pests and, while they have different rates for monthly, semi-monthly, etc; they never pushed any plan on me.

I was very pleased with the service, especially the fact that they did not try to sell my anything extra-just took care of the problem.

Extremely well, Barry arrived early this morning as requested. We were able to scedule this service only 2 days prior. He is very professional, knowlegeable and personable, as was the person was on the phone when I called to get information. I was finishing up with a much-delayed brushing out and vacuuming of the interior window slats (I would recommend doing this beforehand if yours were as dusty and full of dead bugs as ours were) when Barry arrived and he was able to work around this. He completed the job in a timely manner. We have yet to see how effective the treatment is (first time for treating this house indoors), but after talking to three other companies I decided to go with 1st Choice. They do not treat baseboards. We do not have basboards and the chemicals would have have stained the paint where treated and over time the chemical will attract dust and need to be cleaned off anyway.

The team arrived on time and immediately got to work. It was a pretty extensive job and you would not even know they were here! All holes were plugged up and everything was put back in place. Barry answered all of my questions and I feel confident that the problem has been resolved. I will continue to use this company for ongoing maintenance.

I live out of town. I contacted the contractor through the Angie's List email link. 1st Choice Termite and Pest called me the next business day. They coordinated the inspection and worked with my brother who lives in the house. Upon completion, they mailed me the final report. They were timely and courteous. They did not charge for the report (I was expecting a charge) and did not pressure me to change termite management services; although I will seriously consider changing service providers now.

Lia, the owner of the company, came out for the initail spraying and installing the bait boxes. I had concern about secondary poisoning and using poisons at all. Lia was very helpful at putting our minds at ease on the products they use. She took time to show us the tamper-proof design of the boxes. Along the way she shared lots of good information to help from inviting pests to the property. Helpful, knowledgable and professional. The only downside is the cost of the bait boxes. They're not cheap ($25.00 each), but you only pay for them once. The company will maintain them and replace them if necessary.

They are very good and have been coming out here for a year and a half now. They charge according to the size of your house. They are extremely knowledgeable and have taken care of the bugs for me.

They were good and the price was reasonable.

Now, for the past year I've received regular scheduled monthly services, and am totally 100% satisfied. The owner, believe it or not, is a lady and she's extremely knowledgable and on top of her game. Her top guy, David, performs the monthly services on my home. He is professional and does a good job. Though, David doesn't kill tarantulas - he lovingly picks them up and removes them from your yard. Tarantulas EAT a lot of bugs! According to everyone around here, they are a 'good thing'. Never you mind, 1st Choice will come and relocate your tarantula, if you want.

They are very helpful. He arrives at the same time every month. He gives me helpful tips. He will do whatever you ask him to. They offer an array of services. He is dependable.

I had a serious bug problem in my new house. 1st Choice worked with me to get it rid of the problem - professionally, quickly, and for a very reasonable price.

Great company and wonderful employees. They were very informative during our home inspection pointing out various areas that could cause problems and that should be addressed. Very thorough in their inspection which was comforting as we were still in contract on the home. After the purchase they returned and did the exterior and interior spray. They answered any and all questions in reference to the spray being animal friendly and people friendly. We have not had any issues with bugs in the house for 4+ months. Will use again in the future.

THEY SPRAYED THE NESTS UNDER THE PORCH BEFORE THEY CRAWLED UNDER MY PORCH TO REMOVE THEM. I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE SMARTEST THING THAT ANY PERSON HAS EVER DONE. I LOVED THE FACT THAT THEY PUT SAFETY FIRST.
