Some of the money from the insurance was suppose to go to the AC, but it was never taken care of. They did the roof, but not the AC. They really took their time with getting to the AC repairs, but I am sick of waiting. I have children and cannot go without AC. They are not answering my calls, so I called the usual HVAC company that I have used before. They said that it is not fixable. I took the money from the account that was from the insurance company to pay for both services. Then he was mad that I didn’t call him, which I did! He is threatening to put a lean on my house for $15,000.Then he lowered it to $10,000. I gave $4,000 to the company that installed the new AC unit for me, so I’m not sure why he thinks he should be getting $10,000. The inspector took pictures from the ground and would not climb up on the roof to make sure that it was done correctly. He said they could fall, so he does not go up on the roof to confirm the quality. When the company that installed the AC was on the roof doing the install work, they said the roof was "spongy" and they were concerned that it was not repaired properly. They said that I should have it looked at, as it could cause leaking or damage. Jaime Roofing had no interest in looking into it.
