Shane and his team were a pleasure to deal with. We got our money's worth. Scheduling with a job like this is always somewhat of a problem because of weather and delay's on Shane's other jobs. Nevertheless it was mangeable.A job well done and would hire again.

Nothing but good to say!  We would recommend Shane and his crew wholeheartedly.  He worked through unusual weather conditions and unexpected scheduling issues (which were ours), and offered nothing but support and professionalism throughout the project.  Both the pool and the courtyard look spectacular!  His crew literally sang while they worked and sincerely seemed to embrace the task and take pride in their craft, awesome crew!  We especially appreciated that he worked with us to arrive at solutions to any challenges that arose, which were few.  Great job - Very happy! Called Shane to come check it out. Next day he drained pool and following day he fixed the problem and filled pool back up. We didn't run the pool for a day so everything would dry. After a few months the new pebble tek looks exactly the same as what's on our pool now. He is so friendly and it shows he cares what the customer thinks and that they are happy after work is done.

I submitted an extensive review last year, including many pictures.  Please check your system!  Your process for new businesses is terrible!!!

After limping along for years with our original pool pump, it finally died just when it got hot enough to swim. Our plaster was a mess. Time to get a new motor and pool finish. We found Shane Scott, owner of We Do It Pools from a link in the Registrar of Contractors after interviewing two A listed Angie’s List resurfacing contractors, a contractor someone else recommended as well as our original pool contractor.  For the first time in our tenure as Angie’s List members we had no luck finding a contractor. A) One A listed contractor visited, but never sent the quote.  We waited over a week and even called them.  B) Another A listed contractor cared more about talking about their other business than they did our job.  C) Another contractor ignored our budget.  D) The original pool company was basically interested in up-selling us new cool decking and tiles, which we did not need.

On the contrary; Shane visited the day after we spoke with him. We liked him immediately and knew he was experienced. He was low key, taking his time asking about our needs, explained the entire process.  He sent us the quote an hour after speaking with us.  We were used to plaster, and also thought that would be easier on our budget. Shane explained that pebble was actually less expensive and would last at least twice as long as plaster, which would be 10+ years. We chose a light colored mini pebble surface.  The other contractors said the job would take at least a week...or two. Shane said 4 days. He started on a Tuesday.  We were swimming by that Saturday! 

After doing some research ourselves we chose the Hayward Variable Speed Pump that Shane recommended. He pointed out that this pump was more compatible with our pool because our 1 1/2” plumbing lines were smaller in diameter and would cause the larger, more expensive pumps (that the other contractors wanted to sell us) to burn out because our plumbing lines would not be able to handle the larger flow rate of the more expensive pumps. We believed Shane was the right person to give our 17 year old pool the TLC it deserved. I'm happy to say that never changed. 

Shane installed the new Hayward pump. He also installed a new light, wiring and canister for less than the other quotes we received.  Shane did the “cutting” under the tiles to prevent the tiles from breaking during the resurfacing. Then he removed the old grout above the tiles and re-grouted the entire pool. 

Shane and team always showed up on time.   Everyone was polite and efficient in every way. They also covered the cool deck to protect it from their equipment and did a thorough clean-up!  Shane oversaw the entire process.  The mini pebble has a nice texture without being abrasive.  We are good with the feel, and love the look!  Shane also stuck to our budget, and his quote right down the penny.   

Shane came back the following Monday after start up to adjust the pump and make sure everything worked perfectly. He also included a bucket of stabilizer.  We Do It Pools was a pleasure to work with in every way.  We feel very fortunate to have found them.  Great job Shane!!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH.
