The owner and his son were extremely friendly and professional. I can say that they went above and beyind the call of duty, here's why:  my water heater leaked down the pedestal where it was stationed in my garage (for 20 years) the owner assured me that he would check the integrity of this pedestal, turns out it was still capable of holding the weight of a large water heater,  I repainted and salvaged the pedestal (they waited while I farted around painting it) and a large plastic drain pan was provided below the new water heater for future events where water could potentially leak out again, this was thoughtfully provided free of charge. Water heaters 4 less are exceptionally knowledgeable on water heaters, for pennies more I was able to upgrade on my previous water heater which I have found works much better as far as heating up the water quicker and  hotter. Since March we have found that our gas bill has decreased, nearly $7 per month. After researching, I am finding that Water Heaters 4 Less is the best source in Phoenix for replacing a water heater. Even on a Sunday I received the best deal possible and received excellent service, no other company even answered their phone(s) on this particular Sunday.

I called Jim about a week ago when I noticed my old water heater had developed a leak.  A friend who had work done by Jim a few years back recommended him, both for price and quality of work.  My existing unit was an antique by water heater standards and was definitely on its last legs.  Jim arrived early on Saturday morning as agreed, did exactly what he'd promised to do and had cleaned up and gone within 90 minutes.  He answered every question I had, explained the ins and outs of the new unit, required maintenance, properly lighting the pilot, etc.  Excellent work by a great person - I'll happily recommend him to anyone.

From my initial phone call asking for an estimate to completion, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Jim.
On initial contact, he was very clear on what services he offered, his recommendation on water heater and what his cost included. He also sounded happy to be talking to me which is something I can't say for some of his competitors... Once I'd decided to go with Jim's estimate, it took one quick phone call and a photo of my old water heater and I had Jim scheduled to come out.
Jim's professional manner continued onto the day of services, starting with a phone call asking if it was ok to come a little early. Once he had arrived he got quickly to work and within an hour or so, he was finished with the work. Aside from helping with turning some faucets in the house on and off, there was no need for me to be hovering about to check that things were getting done. Once the work was finished, Jim clearly talked me through the install and the workings of the heater itself, which was appreciated.
Overall, I'm a very satisfied customer.

The work Jim did was excellent. We called mid day on Monday and Jim responded quickly to our call. He even apologized for not being able to get to our place that same day and set an appointment for first thing the following morning, Tuesday. His price was well below the competition and his service was above expectations. He even brought a bad installation mistake to our attention and fixed it (at no extra cost). He fixed it because he said it needed to be fixed for a long term, good installation that would cause us no problems. He added a "drip" pan to prevent water damage in the future from a ruptured tank (no added cost). He put on a new shut off, new pressure valve, new flex pipe hookups, new copper pipe connections, and everything else necessary for a quality installation. His attitude from the first to the end of the process was toward customer satisfaction. And he certainly left us satisfied. I feel that we received a good price, a quality product, a quality installation, the usual 1 year parts and labor and 6 year parts guarantee. Plus someone who was very nice to do business with throughout the process.i will have Jim back again and I would recommend him to anyone with a water heater problem.

Our water heater started leaking while I was out of town. Normally I would do this kind of repair myself, so I was very frustrated. I found Water Heaters 4 Less on the web and told my wife to call them based on the reviews I saw. My wife called and left a message. With the hour Jim had called back and was scheduled to come over later that same morning.
By lunchtime, Jim had replaced our old water heater with a high quality Rheem unit for not that much more than it would have cost me just to buy some brand I've never heard of and install it myself. He ran into a couple of snags during the installation (like needing to replace our gas valve and connection) but had the necessary parts on his truck and didn't change his price from the original quote. I'm glad I was away and got him to do it. His price was very reasonable, he was fast and responsive, and his work was good. We would definitely call him again.

It all went super great. He was there when he said he would be and had everything he needed to do the job. So no wasting time running off to the store. The old plumbing was messed up but he figured it out and fixed it and at NO EXTRA CHARGE. Thank you Jim!! Your nuts if you don't call him first to see if he can do the job for you.

Called JIm at Water Heaters For Less and discussed tank size and price. I wasn't sure what size I needed, so Jim brought a 40 and 50 gal tank. He arrived right on the appointed time. I decided on the 50 gal tank. Jim was very knowledgeable, and went right to work. Within 1.5 hours he removed my old tank and put in the new one with a new shut off valve, all new piping, and hauled away old tank. I am very pleased with Jims work and price,would recomend Jim to any one needing a new water heater.

Originally I was going to purchase a water heater and install myself but once I started research on the quality of water heaters and the price from big box store I decided to see just what it would cost to have one installed. I googled and looked at Angie's list and came across waterheaters4less which had a price which included everything. I hate it when a vendor has the little extras that get tacked on during a service so I wanted to make sure I knew exactly what it was going to cost . I called and left a message and Jim returned my call in minutes. He explained that the cost included everything out the door and it was a Rheem water heater which my research showed as the best on the market, and it was a great price! All I had to do was look at the water heater and answer a couple of quick questions over the phone to make sure there wasn't any abnormal about my current water heater or installation. Jim said he could come out that same afternoon. Jim was very nice and professional. During the install he kept the work area clean and too some extra precautions to make sure there was no damage to the work area. The install only took about one an a half hours. The old water heater which was installed by the original builder did not have a drip pan which caused a little damage to the platform. The new drip pan was included as part of the install. Price was exactly as quoted and work was very professional and quick. I would highly recommend waterheaters4less!

Jim did a great job replacing a failed water heater for our home. He even provided a piece of plywood free of charge to cover the stand that has water damage. Very good quality of work at a great price. He gave me $20 discount as I paid in cash. Highly recommended.

I moved into my current house 6 months prior, which had no water softner or other water filtration system. The hard water here is terrible. Within a month, I had to replace the pressure relief valve on the water heater, which I did myself. The inside of the valve was filled with serious hard scale deposits, locking up the valve. A few months later, I started having problems with water temperature, and decided to simply buy a new water heater based on what I saw in the valve. I did a lot of research trying to determine what is the best quality water heater. I finally searched Angie's list and found Water Heaters 4 Less. Jim was very prompt in responding to my call. And he is very nice and knowledgeable. Based on his own experience, he was able to recommend what he thought was the best quality water heater. He did not try to sell me on any high-priced water heaters that I came across in my research. He was willing to do some pipe work without addtional cost. He also included a drip pan. He gave me a discount for paying with cash. Jim seemed to be very honest and trustworthy.

I found Water Heaters 4 Less on the internet by googling. When I joined Angie's list I knew that I had to share my experience with the other members as I feel I was so lucky to find this plumber. I liked that Jim, the owner and operater answered the phone,480-277-7420 and not a secretary or answering machine. He was very helpful by talking me calmly over the phone how to shut down my water heater to prevent further damage to my house. He asked me a few questions about the size and location of my water heater. His price was listed on the website and it was great.He came out with the agreed water heater and even gave me a free drip pan to prevent a future leak from damaging the stand my water heater is on. He did a great job and followed through with what he promised on the phone. I liked that it was a one call experience and as soon as I talked to him on the phone and saw his website, I knew he was the right choice for me. I would recommend water heaters 4 less to anybody.
