As I was about to leave the dealer with in the truck, I noticed that the mileage on the odometer was different from the mileage on the receipt for the truck. They had given me the wrong truck. They fixed this, and then I left to move my furniture. It was late in the evening when I finished and I didn't want to have the truck overnight and leave my car at the dealer. So I returned the truck late. Because of this, I did not stop to fill it with gas. And after all, the gas meter said 7/8 of a tank, so I decided I would just go pay the higher price per gallon that the U-Haul would charge for gas. When I got my VISA bill the next month, I saw the total charge of $118.02 which was almost 3X what I expected. I got charged $70 for the gas I used. The guy told me that they charge $4 per gallon so I knew this. What I didn't know was that they would say that 1/8 of a tank was 10 gallons. And that in the small print, they tell you they charge $30 service for adding gas.
