THE CAR SHOP

I had run over a tire chock while driving on the highway. My "check engine" light came on. They replaced a sensor that incurred damage from the tire chock. After picking up my vehicle from The Car Shop my check engine light came back on. By the time that this happened the shop was already closed for the day. I immediately called back the next day and was able to take it in first thing in the morning. I had called to check up later in the day and was told that the check engine light was due to a bad gas cap. They replaced the gas cap without charging me for any additional labor.

Very professional, I dropped the truck off without and appointment, they let me know when they would be calling with the estimate, they called ahead of that time with and estimate and had the work completed when promised.

Was very pleased with them.

I was taken home after dropping my car. I was called when the work was finished. When I picked up the car The invoice was gone over in detail. I paid the bill wan went home.

Didn't want to go get ripped off at dealer again so did search for car air repair within a reasonable geo range. One repair place popped up on google, website looked good but then yahoo and other reviews were terrible. Went on Angie's and The Car Shop came up with good reviews on Angie's. Checked it out on other sites and all good.
Close to my house, this place is tucked back off the street so I had not really noticed it. Been around a long time for a reason. Good, honest interactions. Gave me the estimate by the time they said they would and made the repairs same day. Sis not hassle me with all the up-sells you usually get. Already recommended to friends and will definitely use in the future. A local business definitely worth supporting!

They were very good to work with. The shop is close to work they gave me a ride and picked me up. Shop is clean, everyone I dealt with was pleasant and friendly. The mechanic gave me a and quot;show and telland quot; walk through of what was done to the car (as opposed to just verbally saying what was done.

The challenge on this vehicle is that the previous owner did a lot of and quot;hobbyand quot; or non-standard modifications. The mechanic was able to work around the modification to address the problem.

Went in without an appointment on a Friday morning, because the fuel gauge wasnt' working. They explained they were very busy and may not get to my car until Monday. I was pleasently surprized late Friday when they called and told me what was wrong, they had to order a part and my car was completed on Monday at the end of the day. They were very nice, came in under the quoted estimate. Car has been working fine.

I have been going to them for 8 years. They have always been very clear about what needs to be done and what can be put off until later, and never have I felt that they are adding in unnecessary work. They have told me occasionally that work I thought needed to be done was not required, saving me money.

They did very well for us. My husband is really particular about auto service places and he really likes them.
