Smart Service has recently gotten into the handyman, fix BINSR issues that are found during home inspections business. Their handyman work is what this review is based on. 
The only thing that kept this review from being an F across the board is the work of one person on their team, Rick. He was courteous, friendly, and truly went the extra mile for me after a number of issues.On 3/28 a team of 2 was sent out to handle a punch list of things like installing a new light fixture, installing new pipes to the hot water heater, replacing thermostat, etc. The people sent were nice and had skills for some but not all of these items. Their inexperience led to the burning of the wall behind my hot water heater and the frying of the circuit board of the 2 year old air conditioner. I chose this company on the recommendation of my realtor who told me "Justin is amazing and helpful" Justin was rude, ignored emails asking for resolution for the issues, and was downright hostile once I was able to get him out to look at the problems. His attitude and 
that of Jason-who tried to get payment from me in full, even though I had no Air Conditioning and a burnt wall was completely unacceptable. That they acted like they were doing me a favor by coming out to complete the task they started left a very sour taste. I got excuses or at times no response at all. The work was finally completed on 4/15. And I was charged full price for everything. Learn from my mistake--don't hire these people, look for a handyman here on Angie's List to fix anything that needs to be done around the house you're buying.
