PODS Moving and Storage

I used them because of Yelp reviews. I've had a terrible experience. The movers were good the prices were good. The pod that I had wasn't big enough, so they told me to call and they will deliver me another one. I called and they said they couldn't deliver it for a week. I cried begged and screamed and told them I didn't own the house anymore and it was nothing they could do. So, I had to hire another semi company. The concept is good, but it wasn't a good experience. The price was fair. The quality of it was very good.

Prior to having the POD delivered to my apartment I spoke to people in customer service regarding placement of the unit. They instructed me there procedure (how many spaces they needed, etc.) I mentioned to them that I'm the only disabled tenant in that part of the complex and that I would park my car in the slot next to the disabled spot to allow enough space for others to park along side. When driver arrived, I made note of the discussion that I had with customer service, and asked if it would possible to make sure that my concerns were met. He said that there would not be a problem. There was ample space to the right of the disabled space, along with me freeing up the space to the left. I double checked with the driver before I left the complex if there was going to be a problem, or could he place the POD on the handicapped spot. He said no. When I returned he in-fact placed the container to the left of the handicapped parking space, and partially in the parking spot to the left. I called POD's and they indicated that I would have to pay to have them come out and reposition the unit. I'll never deal with them again.
